Divinity: Original Sin 2 - Definitive Edition

Also a good game. I played both divinity and bg3 and don't regret it a bit.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 is very time consuming, but during your play time, you won't feel bored. Game gives you freedom, it's your choice where you go, and what you do. There could be more quests or options to play evil character, but there is enough things to keep you occupied. Turn base combat works well, ammount of spells and skills is fine, but I wish there was more. Especially that you can't cast every spell NPC has. Also sometimes beginning of the fight is irritating. Main opponent will be casting spells on you and if you are much weaker, you won't be able to play your turn. Good thing is, you are free to do anything you like, so draging oponenst from the group or using enviroment to help yourself in battle is possible and alowed. There is great improvement in AI so it's nice to play against good opponent. Sounds and music are great, only conversations looping in towns are a bit annoying, but it's not a dealbreaker of any sort. Graphics are beautiful and sufficient for this kind of RPG. It's definitely worth buying

Great game. Full of fun characters and great voice acting. It's not easy, especially to new players, but perservere and you'll find a game like no other! Once you learn the in game mechanics you'll begin to have lots of fun. One tip.....AVOID FIGHTING ENEMIES WHO ARE A HIGHER LEVEL THAN YOU! You might be ok....but you'll probably get slaughtered!

This game is all around amazing. From the full voice acting to the game loop, there's just nothing that's any worse than "pretty good", with plenty of elements being "amazing" or "very satisfying". Even the side quests tend to be more involved than "fetch me 15 fish" as seen in so many other games. Depending on how familiar you are with games, the first couple minutes can feel somewhat sluggish, but that feeling immediately vanishes once you're done with the tutorial and beginning areas.

I'm not exactly sure why, but I'm not having fun with this one. I loved Original Sin 1, being one of the best RPGs. This one feels too similar to the first and feels waaaaay slower. I loved utilizing environmental effects, but now it feels more annoying then unique. I will give it another chance sometime.... just not now.
