Divinity: Original Sin 2 - Definitive Edition

This game is fun! You go around with your adventuring party talking to NPCs, fighting monsters, uncovering secret treasures and completing quests. The dialogues are intriguing, the world is big and open to exploration, and the combat system is fun and challenging. If you like high fantasy RPGs this is the game for you. I was disappointed by the blatant sexualization of the female characters' art design. Please stop with the boob armor and chain mail bikinis. I want my female heroes to look as badass as their male counterparts. The inventory system was quite a chore. I'd recommend using or losing any items as they come, otherwise you'll end up with a ton of dead weight in your pack. The camera was also kind of annoying. While it is a nice idea in principle that you could rotate the camera and see things from different angles, in practice it's just annoying and not at all preferable to your standard isometric view. The movement of everything felt very "slow". When I tried to drag character portraits, skills or items in my inventory it usually took a long while for the game to respond. The ending, after the final battle, was rather anti climatic. It looked like there was going to be a big montage detailing how your actions affected the world and the people you met along the way. But instead I got only a few underwhelming tidbits. Despite those few flaws, I warmly recommend you play this game.

I play this game in Coop with a friend of my. And I can say it is totally awesome. The story and the mechanics of the game alone are great, but with the Coop mode the game fun is raised one level higher. It is a unique selling point of this roleplaying game to offer such a mode. It works great, even better than its predecessor. If you like games like Pilars of Eternity, Baldurs Gate or Icewind Dale, then buy it!!!!

Engaging gameplay, beautiful art and graphics, intuitive navigation and highly polished. Also, the voice acting and writing are great! So much to love about this game. Grab a copy and have a LAN night with your mates, then they'll all go buy it too

Nothing more to add - if you are any kind of proper PRG games fan, do yourself a favor and get this. Recommended as highly as godwokenly possible. :)

This game was incredible to dive in to. Anything I thought of to try breaking the game with-getting ah item too soon, skipping locations and coming back to them, etc- seemed to have reactions, consequences and dialogue to reflect my choices; even though I didn’t go with the “flow.” Fantastic game, great customization and choices, and interesting characters who have subtleties you may expect. The combat may drag if you’re not a fan of in depth strategies, utilizing environments, etc., but you can lower the difficulty and rub and gun if you’d like to just experience the story first. I’ve yet to dive into game master mode but I’m excited to do so and see how to make DnD a thing online!
