Divinity 2: Developer's Cut

Honestly, this game is a joy. Does it have faults? Hella. I don't care. It's the sort of game that has such soul that it outshines anything else. It's fun. It's pleasant. It doesn't waste my time. It amuses me, too, with a dry and not so dry humour that doesn't feel like immature shock-value and often brings a bark of laughter out of me. The fighting ? love it, extremely entertaining, both as a human and as a flying lizard. The dragon flying controls are a bit clunky at times, I won't lie, but it really doesn't hinder much. Not worse than Skyrim, truthfully. Also, you can read minds. Sometimes it doesn't bring anything more than a spark of that humour previusly mentioned - sometimes it gives relevant information. Both are worth the xp cost of mindreading, and if not you can read and reload anyway for the best of both worlds. Honestly? I cannot recommend this game enough if you like ARPG.

This game is freakin awesome its just great. Never seen an RPG like this. Looks wonderful, great story, gameplay is challenging but great fun with some ideas like dragons and monsters taken to levels most other adventure games never tread. Possibly my favorite 3rd person role playing game ever.

It has its problems, it feels very generic at times, but it is a pretty great experience all around. The story of Larian's games has never been interesting to me, so the fact that the story is watered down beer in this game, is fine with me.

Divinity 2 Ego Draconis is the definition of an underrated and unpolished gem that didn't grab enough attention for people to care enough to fan-patch the game. It is an entirely different experience from divine divinity, in a good way and a fun story with Larian humor built in it, fun combat, and hours' worth of content. The only issue is that bugs, crashes, corrupt saves as well as some difficulty spikes can certainly ruin the experience, but if you overcome them, you have a fun game worth hours of gameplay. And hey, for such a low price, it is a banger. I think every western RPG fan should at least try this game, it truly deserves more attention.

I get the loading screen and then it quits to desktop. I have tried numerous recommended "fixes" but nothing works. Windows version 1903.
