Good...but could habe been much more!
This is a good game, but some flaws prevent it from being one of the best. First the Good Points. The maps are huge with a lot of exploration to do and full of things to discover, side quests and powerfull items to find. The enemies are quite different and the combat requires some tactic to best the thougher enemies, at least at "hard mode", "normal mode" is much more easy and will do for a more relaxed gameplay. You can customize your character to a great degree in terms of skills. Side quests are an added value, being quite original and usually different from the boring "fetch this/kill this - get reward". The story, albeit not very original, does its work well. Now the Bad Points. Although you can choose among a lot of skills, only some of them are really usefull, you have to plan your "build" well otherwise you will have problems going on, since you can't change skill points allocation. I found that the mage class isn't developed how it should, I mean: you can be a warrior and cast spell the same way a mage would, so a warrior has all the advantages in this game, while mages and rogues don't. The graphic could be much better, it's worse than a lot of its contemporaries like Diablo2, not to mention Morrowind; the music is average. Last note, the game is quite linear as an Rpg: you have some choices in some side quests and with the customization of your character but that is as far as choices go, you wont' affect the game world that much. So the game remains a good action game with an rpg flavour, but for a real RPG look elsewhere.

Not fun
Ok, so I'm a fan of isometric RPGs and I enjoy both story-oriented and hack-n'-slash-oriented games. So I gave it try and based on the reviews I really wanted to like this game. After 4 hours in I got really disappointed. The npcs seem uninteresting, the action requires you to exhaust too many resources (I played a mage, maybe a warrior would fare better) until you run out of potions. And then you have to go back levels and levels of a mindless dungeon just to go back to town to rest. Argh that first dungeon... too long, too boring and too unrealistic, like there's a whole Necropolis full of undead under that peaceful village, you get hints as you progress that if it's disturbed all hell breaks loose etc and that's just a horde of undead that a level 3 wizard can miraculously take on his own (of course taking advantage of the stupid enemy AI). Wow. What a threat to the world and what a gaming challenge! (<-irony) Storytelling just seems bad in this game. Also some bugs here and there. Like picking up a heavy stone vase that stays forever in your inventory, with no way of putting it back down as you normally do with other items. The frequency of save and load is too high because you die too often or you stumble upon some stupid bug. To be fair, on the bright side character development seems to be nice and graphics have aged well. Maybe it gets better later on, but the start of this game is uninteresting and not fun. I have no wish of playing it again. If you want a good action RPG play Nox instead.

Supposed to be good, can't play it.
Plenty of good reviews for this game. On both Win 7 & Win 10, I can't play this game. Its sat in my gog library for a few years now. The max resolution is super low. While it installs, and starts, it usually has something gamebreaking, like locking up on the very first quest.
