Play your way in a world where mysticism and industry collide. Will you choose to play as Empress Emily Kaldwin or the royal protector, Corvo Attano? Story:

Dishonored 2 is set 15 years after the Lord Regent has been vanquished and the dreaded Rat Plague has passed into history. An otherworldly usurper has seized Empress Emily Kaldwin’s throne, leaving the fate of the Isles hanging in the balance. As Emily or Corvo, travel beyond the legendary streets of Dunwall to Karnaca, the once-dazzling coastal city that holds the keys to restoring Emily to power. Armed with the Mark of the Outsider and powerful new abilities, track down your enemies and take back what’s rightfully yours.

extremely mixed feelings

I was really looking forward to this after playing through dishonored 1. I played that game many times through. I played on easier difficulties, hard difficulties. nonlethal. full lethal. Even did a playthrough where I gathered every charm and rune possible without ever attacking, being seen, or using abilities. Something about this game is different. I can't put my finger on it, but it just feels wrong. Maybe for you it will be good. but for me, it feels like it is crudely wearing the skin of something familiar.

Stereotypical Plot, great game

As always with Arkane, I found the plot and dialogue writing to be mediocre. Neither bad nor good, it just did it's job. However, the artstyle, worldbuilding, gameplay, atmosphere and so on was absolutely fantastic and I loved every mission. The sheer amount of possibilities alone is fantastic. Additionally: Delilah design was absolutely fantastic and I lowkey wish she had won.
