Phenomenal. Just phenomenal.
tl;dr Good noir like aesthetic, great music, wonderful world and history, great story, great characters, good unique skill tree and mechanics. The game is highly unique and is an experience I haven't had elsewhere... and has stuck with me. Its dice roll based RPG mechanics may not be for most, but its story is something I recommend everyone playing. --- (No spoilers) --- This game is amazing. Its got a great art style, great sound track, *really* wonderfully crafted world and characters etc. But that's not even why its special. The game has a really interesting skill tree, and scope for replayability. But that's not it either. Without spoiling, the game is one big Rorschach test. As the character discovers themselves and the city, so do you. It becomes this engaging, immersive sim, where you explore a wonderful, melancholic yet hopeful city, a city longing for hopes and dreams long gone, and you find out, in a way, who you want to be. How you want to think. While all characters live in the same city, there are fascists, communists, racists... and just normal people, hopeful for the future in a crumbling ruin. The game is like a novel you read in your teens, that resonates with you, and defines you, for years to come. But what's even more special about this game is... YOU decide what it defines you as. It's just that special. The weird thing is you won't even notice it doing it, until a year later, when you listen to the soundtrack, it all comes flooding back, and you go to review the game. Red Dead made me sadder. Witcher 3 was a bigger Journey. Bioshock had a (barely) more memorable setting. They all left this in the dark whenever anyone asks me my favourite game... because it's more than a game. It's something that sticks with you. It truly is a unique, wonderful, experience. While its gameplay may not be for everyone... I would recommend giving it a shot as it's just such a unique experience.

A beautiful rabbit hole
This game has some of the best character interactions I have seen, as soon as you start you know something has fone terribly wrong and you either double down in the self destructive spiral or try to put your shit together, of course I tried to be a "good boy" and pulled myself together and still some of the interactions keep that crazy flavor, sometoimes you make crazy remarks and everyone seems to roll with it, some of the sidequests are just crazy with huge chunks of lore and backstory related to them. But do not believe for a second the main plot is bad, that detective investigation had me running theories in my head like a mad man, every so often I was jumping from one suspect to the other, trying to put together the pieces, and I'm talking about myself, not the game character I also decided to not retrieve my gun and let me tell you, I feel compelled to replay the game and do so because this game is that interesting, it keeps the illusion of choice pretty well The stat progression is a big deal, every point counts so you'll be changing your outfit a lot to try and make up for your weaknesses, no piece of gear is useless If I have to say something negative about the game is that after 20 hours the walls of text start chipping at your patienece, and every bit is important if you want to understand the world and your character Other than that I feel like is one of the best games I have played, the story is great, the art style is beautiful, the music is fitting and the sound effects are immersive I will definetively revisit it in the future and I will recommend it to every person, animal and plant I encounter going forward

A stellar game, an imperfect Final Cut
It's one of the best games i've played in years, but i would really prefer to have the old version with original voice acting available in the launcher or as downloadable installable files. In a perfect world, ingame "classic" voice acting mode should enable the old voice lines, but i'd settle for just the old installer being optionally available.

Great Story Game
It's storywise a very good game. You have lot's of great mono- and dialogues and it has a good touch to politic, economic an philosophical theory, with a lot of irony in it. The problems have mostly several solutions to solve and your skills and decisions bring you in different stories. The only thing, I have to say: It's more a very storywise point and click with RPG elements and not a fighting RPG. So if you want action based combat and are bored by stories, this game is probably not for you.
