A Wild Romp Worth Repeating
It's been a while since I played a cRPG that didn't overstay its welcome for me. But here I felt the pacing was perfect throughout. And while I was a little sad when it was over, the ending left me well satisfied. I know I missed things that another play-through with a different set of stats and choices would start to uncover. I'm anxious to play again. While inspiring and memorable, it's not without its flaws. A proper RPG that lets you be the kind of character you want, the game lets you be downright despicable . It's unfortunate that people who are already despicable may feel vindicated by the game. And the game has some minor bugs, both of the technical and scripting variety. The world-building in Disco Elysium is top notch. I'd love to see other games (or even books or movies?) set in this universe. Overall, the game is beautiful, tragic, funny, and rewarding. I highly recommend it.

One of the best games of the last decade
This is very personal and probably not very popular but I absolutely love Point and Click adventures, which lately have been a rare commodity. The argument can be made wheter Disco Elysium is actually a game that fits this category, and I'll admit it doesn't do so very neatly. But DE just does so many things right on it's own without the baggage of Point-n'-Click: interesting world with lots of references to French history, great characters and voice actors, gameplay-mechanics that aren't depending on reflexes but still manage to keep player interaction high, a beautiful artstyle, and I could go on here. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who likes interesting characters, cop-stories, the Paris Commune, or just generally how the game looks.

Great dialogue-based RPG
I enjoyed this game a lot. There's no real combat, but otherwise it's very similar to the Torment games (Planescape and Tides of Numenera). If you liked either of those games, then I strongly recommend this one. That being said, I don't find the game to have a lot of replay value. I'll refrain from saying anything else, as I definitely don't want to spoil it for anyone.
