Perfect mod for Diablo 1
This is so refreshing to new and old gamers who want to play the most dark Diablo game out there, still holds to ambience and make the game playable as it should be !

When it hits, it aims true
I haven't played it 100% on every class, but I can say with certainty not all classes or bosses are created equal. Some new or revamped bosses feel just right: they're challenging, but not too much. Some new or revamped bosses are overtuned: if you don't over-level when you encounter them, they will delete you in seconds as they move/attack faster than you, stunlock you, and steal your health on hit. I opted for the Assassin on my first go around, knowing even from the stat screen that it was going to be the greatest challenge (10 VIT start). What I didn't expect was a relatively useless level 1 skill. Stealth sounds OP until you remember that Diablo 1 is all about tight corridors crammed with enemies. This leads more often than not to stealth being canceled as soon as it is used or being unusable in the first place. Add to this the movement speed penalty it incurs (making you slower than almost every enemy in the game) and you've basically got a dead slot, offensively speaking. Stealth *can* be used to escape from foes in some circumstances, such as when you've cleared a large enough area to use it and run from enemies. (Because NPCs go to your last known location when you use Stealth and can "see" you through at least some walls, you have to flee directly as well as "strafe" around them.) But therein lies the problem: Stealth is only useful against ONE enemy after you've managed to clear a large enough area to escape. This lends it to being such a low priority skill that compares awfully to other level 1 skills, such as the Necromancer's. I haven't played deep into the labyrinth with the Necro, but Summon Zombie only requires you to kill a single enemy to be useful and the way it scales with you level indicates it will remain useful as you go deeper. The UI is really a touch small, but I'm old. I haven't gotten far enough to engage with the "crafting" system yet, but I reckon it's a clone of Diablo II. If you try it, temper expectations. But worth trying.
