Beelzebub, or Diablo I HD Mod, is a complex modification for the first installment of the Diablo series, which introduces a number of interesting improvements to the gameplay, a lot of new content and - most importantly - increased resolution.



Beelzebub enriches the cult Diablo series with a real mass of intriguing content, presenting it all in HD resolution. The modification adds new locations, missions, spells, skills and monsters, 204 unique items, 170 crafting recipes, several new character classes (Warrior, Sorcerer, Rogue, Necromancer or Barbarian), 28 sets and 105 set items, four difficulty levels available in the single player mode, as well as a host of other gameplay improvements. The developer has also thought of a few additions in terms of interface, support for widescreen, and - as we have already mentioned - full integration with the new Windows systems. There is no denying that there is a lot to it, so every fan of the series, especially of the ‘one’, will undoubtedly not pass by this modification indifferently.

More than a HD mod

While the mod adds extensive content and QOL features, it takes too much from Diablo 2 and loses a bit of its original soul. Lack of multiplayer is also another major loss. I wish it had an option to selectively disable some core features.

MOD Not Ready-Win 11 Auto Saving problem

Hi, I love the mod, however its not ready. The auto save does not work correctly. The character and inventory progrression does save, however the level completed in the church doesnt, exiting and starting the mode allways brings me back to level 1 this could be a win 11 folder read only issue or caused by antivirus software, not allowing save data change, not sure. Tried several things to resolve issue including changing folder permissions, repair and verify, no success. However when I did play the MOD it was a great upgrade for the game.

Diablo 2 in D1 style

prety god for a mod, do crash sometimes. can't wait for multiplayer. and it is cool to see many new quests yet.. with that sound like original character voicing..
