Diablo + Hellfire

Still a great Game that i enjoy to play from time to time. Really love that its a bit more simple than D2 but still has enough depth to dive into. I sure love also D2 but 1 can still hold up especially with its Athmosphere. Remember its old,so if you arent familiar with it,its not like D2 or Online Mode.Save often. I recommend playing it with Devilution Port,but the GoG Game runs also well. Thanks for bringing this to modern Systems.

For YEARS, I had a physical copy of the game from the original, early 2000's Battle Chest. Sadly, it's been seemingly lost in my most recent move. To find THIS game on GOG is a wonderful thing! I can still HEAR Cain say "Stay awhile, and listen!", or Adria's "I sense a soul in search of answers!"; even Griswolds "Well, what kin a' do ya fer?"Time to see if I can make it through the game with Arkaine's Valor and Griswold's Edge again!

If only bliz still made games this good.

Ya just tested it out. works great and battlenet supported. just logged on and had flashbacks of thousands of logged starcraft 2 hours. oh my i hope starcraft and starcraft 2 are on this list of revivals too

I sat in town a good five minutes simply soaking up the soundtrack. Decades later, Tristram is still one of the greatest themes in gaming history, and it sets the tone for what you will encounter once you begin dungeon crawling. This is atmospheric, old school gaming at its finest. High quality sound design and soundtrack combine to create a tingling of dread and foreboding around every corner. Exploring the Cathedral elicits the same sense of oppressive, near tangible evil as it first did all those years ago. The point and click gameplay is simple, yet still sound. The loot no longer feels as fancy, yet still satisfies the need for rewarding drops. Buy this game, and remember just why you fell in love with this franchise.
