Decent Cyberpunk
Suprisingly decent cyberpunk game with half baked combat and hacking mechanics. If you wanted to play pacifist, this game is not for you, combat is either impossible or an absolute snoozefest depending on how many skill points you put into combat. The best I can describe it, is like a Cyberpunk Streets of Rage. Hacking is... bad. However, it gets super easy... only if you invest points into it. The good news is that if you've been leveling up like you should be doing you get enough skill points to max out the important stuff. OK, so the combat is jank and the hacking is bad, but at least the effort is made to create a very well done cyberpunk world with fully voiced characters that draw you into the story. Soundtrack is meh, good enough to suit the game, not good enough to be memorable. It's no Deus Ex or Shadowrun but it's decent for the sale price.

Good game with one flaw..
Fighting mechanics are very poor. First of all you can block the attacks but you never know when they are going to punch you so this is pure lottery. They could have copied the idea from Batman series which works great and is very satisfying. In my case the fight was always quick punch, roll over to the other side, quick punch, roll back over etc. It is good that they gave us silent takedowns but sometimes the animation is simply not working correctly. You see the enemy being taken down while you are standing like two meters from him. Now you can also use guns but this is also not done too well. Basically you keep shooting to each other until one of you is dead. No covers, no strategy... And then I do not understand why you have a separate button for punching and shooting. I mean you have to hold another botton to take out the gun anyway so no possibility to get them mixed. However I really enjoyed Dex. This is a low budget version of Deus Ex but still a good one.

Good to play
This was a pretty dang fun game. I couldn't put it down, so to speak. Not super long, but taking the time to find everything, achievement hunt and fully understand the story will give this game the most hours. There are multiple choices and multiple outcomes for side missions. The main story itself, I believe, has two different outcomes. The main character is kind of a street fighter cyborg hacker, the way I see it. The game has RPG elements with multiple supportive inventory items, upgrades and unlockable skills. Actually, it reminded me a lot of a 2D SNES Shadowrun, but maybe a little more simple. Lots of beat-em-up style with some marksman combat. There can be several ways to solve a problem. Story is pretty good. You'll be required to read through/listen to a lot of dialogue if you want to understand it all. Would definitely consider this to be a mature title. Some parts of the game have dialogue that describes intimate body parts and a side mission involves an adult club that portrays naked individuals. Mind you, the graphics are pixelated. So, while it's implied that a woman is topless, or a dude is sitting in his birthday suit, it's not visually clear. In addition, drugs are a big part of this dystopian world. Bottom line, if you think you would enjoy a retro sci-fi RPG beat-em-up game, you'll definitely like this one.
