Not Worthy of GOG Preservation Program
I love GOG for the DRM-Free experience, and will GLADLY PAY for making our good old game last longer. But this DMC4 SE is NOT WORTHY of GOG PRESERVATION PROGRAM Label. If anything, this is a bad example of preservation program not doing what it should. Startup issue, settings crash, exactly like the Steam version, need to manually hex edit the exe dan edit the config (4K Display here). I'm happy with the Game, I'm NOT Happy with the startup issues. Suggestion : Either fix the startup issue, or remove the GOG PRESERVATION PROGRAM label from this game.

A Good But Flawed Experience
DMC 4 makes you wonder what if Capcom had the balls to upgrade DMC 3 in all its western glory both in terms of initial difficulty and boss fights. The Cerberus boss is far better than anything DMC 4 throw at you. On the positive side, the gameplay mechanics are improved and the Devil Bringer is a fine addition. The platforming sections and camera are the best of the entire series (including DMC 5). Cannot say the story hooks you but at least it's a decent enough excuse for you to be running around slashing demonic sock puppets

Oh say can you cry
This game has always been a blast, I mean its not Fallout 4 with tons of things to do, its a button masher but a fun button masher to kill time with and one gets to play as Nero and Dante or Virgill or Lady and Trish so it offers 3 ways to play. The graphics are solid and the music is intense, and while the demons are kind of bland, its still a blast to shoot and slash them up. In short, glad this game has finally come to GOG since Steam no longer works on Windows 7. And with that being said, while the requirements do list Windows 10, the game works fine on 7, which it should, it was coded to use directx10 and put out over 10 years ago, no game from back then required 10.
