Twenty years after the events depicted in the multi-award-winning Deus Ex, the world is just beginning to recover from The Collapse. As an elite agent-in-training, you must match wits against numerous militant factions bent on violently reshaping the world to suit their own agendas. Armed with a multitude of high-tech gadgets and cyberpunk bio-mods, you are granted nearly superhuman powers. Travel the globe to uncover fiendish plots and convoluted conspiracies of world domination. Unmask the conspirators, and discover the shocking truth behind your own origins.
Deus Ex: Invisible War features the open-ended gameplay of its predecessor: use multi-tools and trickery to get past your opponents, or just turn their technology against them as you hack their turrets and computer systems. Along with bio-mods and choices that let you mould your character as you desire, take advantage of the numerous ways to customize your weaponry whether it’s to increase their rate of fire or clip capacity. Last but not least, take advantage of the various factions, such as the Omar who have the only black-market bio-mods, to further your aims.
Who should you trust? Who should you fight? Every decision you make affects the world around you. A good choice for RPG and action fans alike!
RPG-ish design allowing for multiple solutions to every quest, whether through stealth and treachery or all guns blazing!
A selection of unique biomods such as the Neural Interface that allows you to hack computers or Cloak to hide from enemies, cyberpunk style.
Globe-hop to real world locations such as Seattle, London, and Cairo.

I really like games that try new things so although this game is very similar to the first, it did try out new mechanics. I dont know if these things were first shown in this game but they were the first time I saw them.
Climbing - jump to a ledge and hold forward and jump and your character will grab the ledge and climb up.
Unique Weapons - Most if not all guns in the game have a unique version that has extra abilities/alternate firing modes.
Universal Ammo - 1 ammo type that is used for every weapon. This was not very well received.
The game is short and every level was broken down into multiple locations with loading screens between them which was kind of disappointing but the content is still good.
Sadly game is not running in W11. After you launch game from desktop is game is looking ok. You can get to the menu. But after you load last save or you run new game.... Game become not responding
Even though it's an old game, I like it. I preferred the original Deus Ex, but this one's also perfectly playable. Of course, you have to keep it in the spirit of the times.
I've been playing it for a few hours now, and I've played it before, but I lost my save games, so I started over. It takes the first 30 minutes to get used to it, but after that, it's a great game. I haven't had any issues with bugs.
I bought as a fan of the original Deus Ex and it's modern sequels but this game is just awful.
Without mods runs only in 4:3 aspect ratio.
Locations are much smaller in comparison to the original and we are bombarded with constant loading screens. One ammo type that fits all weapons, no experience points - only progression is getting better equipment.
Graphics isn't that, lighting and shadows look great but the characters look like they are made out of plastic, animations and faces are very uncanny.
I think that Deus Ex aged batter in terms of gameplay, progression, level design and even its graphics has that characteristic charm.
GAMEPLAY
The gameplay takes some getting used to, especially if you just launched off the heels of the original but becomes pretty decent mid-way through.
Keycodes not needing to be typed in, bio mod installation on the fly is a huge and no energy cost for the flashlight are BIG positives for this game.
Some negatives (could just be me though) the physics sometimes just straight up go out of wack, making vent crawling and jumping over to a ledge really difficult.
WAAAAY more loading screens and can sometimes be aggravating if you missed an item or forgot to turn in your quest in to the quest giver.
STORY
The story this time around was not as polished or deep as the original but still managed to stick the landing for what it wanted to accomplish and had actually stakes that made it compelling like in the first game.
Side characters weren't as memorable or interesting but likable all things considered.
Smaller experience unlike the original but worth playing despite its shortcomings and if you want to check this out, I recommend it.
