One fateful night, Rufus awakes from a haunting nightmare: he sacrificed himself to save Deponia. But at what price? Elysium, the floating city crash-landed on the planet. As the last surviving Deponian, he fought savage fewlocks, but in the end, there was only one way out: He had to blow up Deponia! And... He grew a mustache.
Of course he realized that these gruesome events - especially the mustache part - had to be prevented from ever happening. Deponia and his well-shaved face had to survive!
But was this really just a dream? With the help of McChronicle, a quirky temporal scientist, who discovered strange time-anomalies, Rufus discovers that some time travelers from the future carelessly parked their time machine in his neighborhood. Just imagine if this amazing technology would fall into the wrong hands!
Dive right into this frantic sequel of the Deponia cult-trilogy and join the chaotic anti-hero Rufus on his most peculiar adventure. Even without knowing the previous installment, the hilarity of Deponia Doomsday will have you cracking smiles and burst with laughter.

This is the pinnacle of the deponia series in my opinion! The plot is an absolute marvel! I haven't encountered such great story-telling in a very long time. Sure you can argue about mechanics, but I found it exceedingly enjoyable, just do yourself a favor and get this game!
Daedalic, Why did you do it? The game was dull, uninspired, boring, unnecessary. Also, game mechanics were added (timed minigames) that made the gaming experience even worse.
Avoid it.
I wanted to love Deponia Doomsday, I really did after the last games ending I had grit my teeth with irritation of the utter ruining of a perfectly good character for no real valid reason. I guess I didn't hate Deponia Doomsday I just didn't like they upsold us another game without changing from where it left off.
The comedy is there, the gameplay is just like the previous games, and if you were to purchase this game you'd be doing it because you have an attachment to the characters and want to see one last hurrah from Rufus and all his hijinks.
Keep in mind, this game is about time travel so it's LITTERED with back tracking, doing the same events over and over and over and over until you want to scream at whatever event you didn't play out correctly.
I didn´t like the game for me a stories ending is as important as any other part of it and nothing can ruin a good game story like a bad ending.
Deponia Doomsday has such a bad ending that not only turns the whole game into something completely pointless.
The game teased that you might be able to undo the utter horseshit that was the third games ending, but nope in the end it´s the exact same and it leaves you asking what exactly the point of this whole game was?
And the answer is there is none, the story doesn´t really go anywhere and you could more or less cut Rufus and Goal out of the entire game and nothing would change.
skip this game it´s not worth it at ALL.
All Deponia games are good and this is not the exception.
I already have it on Steam because it was launched there long before it was launched here on GOG.
Same happened with Firewatch.
It is a shame, GOG.
