Deliver Us The Moon

I have been wanting to play this game for a while and today I played the game in one session. I am...speechless. To clear things up, I didn't have any expectations. I saw the trailer and some gameplay footage and I said to myself that it looks nice, I should try it. Wow, what an experience it was. I did not see it coming. The gameplay is very simple, you can walk, jump and interact with different things and devices but it will stick with you. I know, it sounds very simple but trust me, you will like it. The story gets to you from the beginning, it is very interesting and it develops and it gets better and better as you play through the game and after finishing it, I was left without words. I still have goosebumps as I am writing the review. Congrats to the writers ! The soundtrack is simply AMAZING. The music made the experience more immersive and contributed to the emotions the game made me feel. The graphics are stunning. Deliver Us The Moon is one of the most beautiful games I have ever played. The experience was incredible. I recommend this game from the bottom of my heart. It will stick to you for a long time. It will stick with me forever I'd say.

This could have been a fun space adventure, but the performance was terrible: lots of stuttering and waiting for my graphics card to catch up, even on the lowest settings. A lot of arbitrary time-based puzzles that didn't make a lot of sense. The movement and interaction was slow, and laggy. Running, turning, and moving items felt like you were moving through molasses.

Nice game, it sucked me in. It's a walk sim with puzzles and timed action sequences, which I haven't found bad as others say, but I haven't even tried with mouse + keyboard. It would be lovely to have the sequel here on GOG.

As space fan, I had to try this game, after read description and comments...I was even more convince to buy it... First thing, I do not regret my choice! I recommend it! Really good graphics and story, ambiance and off-voices are top, almost no bug (as dev, I know a software without bug is like Santa Clause, only in dream), complete immersion, (almost) no need to rush, can take time to enjoy surrounding and landscape. Hope they going to make another one! Big Up!

So, this is mainly a game about finding out what went wrong by reading notes, viewing holograms and listening to audio recordings, and fixing it (at least partly) by solving puzzles and doing a little bit of platforming and zero-G navigation. The puzzles are quite varied, so it doesn't get boring, and most of them are not that hard, with a couple of notable exceptions. The story is decently interesting; although this is yet another of those "humanity destroyed the earth in their greed/carelessness/laziness/whatever" tropes, I give them a pass as it's maintly used for setting the scene and explaining why you have to be there (as well as a bit of motivation for some of the character story you discover). Voice-acting is decent, no complaints in that regard. Overall gameplay time is probably about 6 hours if you don't rush, and not including any time to go back and complete achievements or find collectibles you missed. Finally, I do unfortunatly have to penalize them by one star for failure to configure the keyboard controls. There's a screen right there in the options for it, but apparently they decided they didn't want to let you actually CHANGE the settings on that page - no! Bad devs! (Cue some messing around in Windows settings to set up a QWERTY keyboard layout so that I can actually play.) Overall, 4/5.
