Defender's Quest

Recently completed and thoroughly enjoyed this title. It uses a basic tower defense formula and layers a decent story, and some detailed mechanics to produce an engrossing, challenging, and fun game. Only compliant is the pacing can wear on, this title is best enjoyed by clearing a few levels a day, as opposed to a marathon session.

I passed a Sunday playing through the games storyline on Casual/Normal. I enjoyed it. Feels good to buy a game, enjoy it, and support an indie.

53 hours into this game, and I still want to play it every night... Problem is that it's one of those games that spin through your mind after you've played, and if you are at it before you go to bed, it replays again, and again, and again... This is a "One more turn..." kind of game. By the way, the plus version after having finished the first round is well worth playing, surprising as it is. Even better is that you can swap your team between the two games, and make certain that you complete every last part of every zone. Kudos to the developers. Also, thanks very much to them for the extended trial version (as played here on GOG), which is the reason that I purchased it!

Really addictive, so many times I wanted to play just 1-2 maps and ended with 8 hours playing. Brilliant, for money real bargain.
