Another great Mathew Broderick game!
If you had told me a few years ago that the world would be going ga-ga over games that let you step into the shoes of Matthew Broderick, arguably America's finest actor, I'd have said you were crazy! Now, after living out most of my Broderick-related fantasies, I honestly can't imagine where the gaming world would be without them! Some, however, are wondering if this genre's becoming over-saturated; this year alone saw the release of no less than twelve(!) rhythm games based on "The Music Man." Well, when it comes to Matthew Broderick Simulators (MBSs), I say the more the merrier, and I'm happy to report that we have another winner on our hands! "DEFCON" sheds the broader, career-spanning scope of titles like "Sid Meier's Broderick!" and follows instead in the tighter, more focused footsteps of the wildly popular "Call of Bueller" franchise, this time giving players a "WarGames"-era Matthew Broderick experience. And what an experience it is! In "DEFCON," you play as Matthew Broderick as David, a young man who thinks he's playing a video game, but realizes he may have accidentally triggered WWIII! Oh, Noes! Place your silos, protect your cities, and break into a Broderick-esque sweat as the timer ticks closer to DEFCON 5! Want to play Global Thermonuclear War? Indeed!
