Deep Sky Derelicts

Though I risk pigeonholing myself into the stereotype of 'that reviewer who always gives 1 or 5 stars', I'll honestly state that I haven't enjoyed a turn-based RPG as much as Sky Derelicts since I owned an SNES. In fact, I had believed it was a genre that I'd outgrown, and could no longer enjoy as much. It's nice to be wrong, in this instance. Sky Derelicts is one of those games where all the elements come together near perfectly. Character and class customization, rng loot tables, sound effects and music, and writing are all excellent. Very few games have loot so good that you open your inventory to change equipment after nearly every encounter. My main gripe would be class unbalance, it seems as if some classes are just better than others. It's a small complaint though, based on how distinct each of the classes are. My only other complaint would be that such a great game has to have an end.

I have played this game sometime and same problems come over and over again. Problems - Difficulty jump is huge time to times, first you are having nice time and then you can't beat anyone. Enemy team just destroy you - Sometimes i can't target some enemy team members, No they are not having any skill on them that make it possible. - Sometimes enemy team just make huge concentrated attacks just one of your team mates, and take him out - you can't remake your skill point, so you have to make sure to put right team and skills when you start game. "But you can bay new character, so at least it is something" Good - Music is awesome - Art style is also awesome - Very good game indeed but those things above are just pain in the ass. FIX those thing above and for me this is 5/5 game

overwhelmingly bugged ( oct 2018 mac version) unable to play it more than 15 min in a row before it crashes..so can’t really enjoy it,.and when it works it’s slow not fluid and mouse only friendly … SO way too expensive for an alpha test! come on! it the first time i go wrong buying something after reading the positive comments, so dear GOG, i’ll be way more suspicious next time on good critics..

A unique combination makes the game feel unique compared to Hearthstone, Darkest dungeon, FTL and Into the Breach. It tries to match Darkest Dungeon 1, I havent played 2. The balance isnt quite there but the grind of Darkest Dungeon made me give up on it. - Story 3/5 There is an interesting concepts on the machines. - Balance -4/5 Some combos are strictly broken as you get into the midgame. You wont always draw them and there is some counters the enemies have. -Grind 3/5 If you play Hardcore you want to do every side mission as you cant reload.

This game is awesome and completely satifies my addiction to turn based RPGs. The artwork is beautiful and there are some great mechanics in the game. My only complaint (apart from 100+ evasion enemies and you have no Razor Nets or a Medic) is that it's a bit too short. It'd be great to see: * Other star systems * Some backtracking (unlocking a new area in other derelicts that you visited previously) * More side quests * Respawning derelicts to farm loot * A way to reset your skills (cost maybe 10,000 chips per character if level 10?) * Something else to do with your money! I'm really looking forward to the next one! Keep it up guys!
