I have the CD version in the triangular Like box I tried the demo and It was quite fun So on a whim I bought this Clunkier controls then Gothic 1 and THAT IS SAYING SOMETHING! Quick Respawning Monsters (in my version anyway) I got to the third level land said FUCK THIS! you have to collect 3 keys in the level to get to next level 3 locked door in secession Needing Bronze, Silver and Gold keys to unlock the next stage ON EVERY STAGE! Clipping is off many times resulting in me falling THROUGH! platforms from High Up Please GOG no more of these types of games.
I 'm just going to buy it to show to my children all that you shouldn't make when we make a video game. But I wouldn't be merciless with Deathtrap Dungeon because I really too much laughed^^ with it once the purchase and the disappointment crossed. Thanks to GOG to remember me "CULTS" moments of video games. Have a nice days everyone and good continuation to GOG.
Don't listen to the other reviewers who mention the PSX, this game was on the original playstation but not the PSX, the psx is an entirely different machine. The PSX is a Sony digital video recorder with a built in playstation 2. I remember playing a bit of DD back on the original PS but never got to finish it, since the playstation I was playing it on wasn't mine. Still if you're in the mood for some dungeon crawling this game is still good.
I remember the boobs and a childrens TV show covering the game's development with lots of male developers looking at computer screens. There was one modeller showing off a female character walking around a dungeon and the boobs were on show. How the industry has changed.
