Played for around 20 minutes. Characters do not maintain position/party order but instead have a 'preferred position' mechanic which eliminates any hope of tactical choice. When your only swordsman prefers not to stand at the front of the group, they really just are a waste of a character slot. Brilliant graphical style. Not at all a game requiring thought out choices, I would recommend this to people who only play games for short periods of time per sitting, or more 'casual' gamers.

The Artstyle of this game is good. But thats it. Better buy a dice and keep throwing it, its the same system and u dont have to pay 4$ for a single hero DLC. Red Hook is like EA... WORST GAME EVER.

Time and time again I've bought games that we're still being developed on GoG and have regretted it every time. Having to fiddle with multiple patches is absurd when you can just use Steam. Automatic updates, constant news, the works. For old games, GoG is king, for new games, Steam reins supreme.

Excluding achievements from a modern game is a ridiculous omission.

I have only just booted up the game to try it out, so this isn't a review in that sense, but there's something I found that's important to know if you're thinking about getting the game and are worried about it doing any data collection on your playthrough. The game has an option in the settings for it to be allowed to sent usage data to the developers. It's called the "Enable Anonymous Data Collection" option, can be found in the "Other" submenu for options and is enabled by default. Make sure to turn it off if you don't want to share that data.
