What they try to deliever is miserable
If you think your life is too happy, you could torture yourself with this game. Sometimes we say a game is difficult that means it is not easy to master it. But this game is different, it just throws random nonsense to you and keeps you from playing it. The logic of casual mode existance is simple, let people understand and appreciate the game. But not in this game! Before you understand anything in this game, you've already lost all the money and all the characters to go on with. Normally, the game design logic is letting people encounter difficulties and conquer them. When we have newbies we let them enter low level dungeons to train them as training ourself master skills, right? So even if our character die oftenly, it is fine, since we could always start over, right? But not in this game. We are not talking about an ordinary game, do we? In this game, when your characters fade away, the low level dungeon also is getting fewer and fewer. Simply put, not much choice to go. Some may say, hey, since you've already played for a while, why don't you use newbies to challenge higher level dungeons? Well, that's the f**ked up part. When your character enter higher level dungeon, they're easily getting stressed. Most of time, they could not finished one sweep. If you don't finished the sweep, you get almost nothing. And unuse resource will not be saved for you, and you still need to pay for stress release fee. Then you hire some new newbies start a more misrable trip. This is all fine. They want to make the game more challengable, I get it. It is fine. But hey, when there is no joy in the game, who is gonna play it? Psycho? So, I think that is exact reason, not many people are playing it , right?
