Dagon is a 3D narrative experience in madness based on the cult short story of the same title by the master of cosmic horror and weird fiction, H. P. Lovecraft himself. It’s an interactive portal into the world of the controversial genius and his highly acclaimed Cthulhu Mythos, open to both newcomers and long-time devotees.
The change happened whilst I slept.
Step into the shoes of a former ship officer and morphine fiend, and dive into the Stygian Abyss of a drug-addled mind. Uncover the unspeakable, long-drowned horrors on a distant eldritch island and wallow in Lovecraftian dread.

Does Not Load and Crashes
NOT RECOMMENDED. I have yet to successfully reach the main menu of the game. The loading screen animates for a while and then a random crash, input irresponsiveness or random Win10 processes (net1.exe) start crashing, probably because of how resource-starving these Unity processes tend to be. The aftermath of the crash leaves also other programs in a inresponsive state, requiring them to be restarted. Specifically the GOG Galaxy client. Not worth the massive trouble and data loss risk in its current state.

Absurdly high requirements
It actualy started, but when hitting New Game it tabbed out, wanned to infest me with spam, and almost froze out. This must be some cruel joke.

Not worth the time.
This game is not worth checking out. I got this on Steam, and it's poorly designed, and seems like the video game equivalent of writing fan-fiction. I love all of H.P. Lovecrafts works, and this has the story of a teenage Edgar Allen Poe enthusiast trying to be mopey and edgy. I would rate it lower than one star if this rating system could go negative.
