I come back to this every few years and do a full run because it's a game world that I will never be able to see all of the details of no matter how much time I put into it. An absolute joy to play for years.
As of 2024: release 2.0 Cyberpunk 2077 is not quite playable yet, but close.
Too many glitches remain. Driving is still crude. Police coverage is irrational. Police aggressive support of gangs is mindless. Loading screens are still to slow even with a Ryzen 9. The game still crashes randomly. T-posing still plagues the game.
Cyberpunk 2077 should be playable and ready for release as soon as these bugs are resolved. Maybe by 2.5 or 3.0 it will be the game as promised more than a decade ago.
I am sorry that I pre-ordered.
So i have roughly 400 hours in CP all together and its just sad that in 1.0 i faced less bugs than in 2.0 (my first playthrough during 1.0 was somewhat bug free, definitely no gamebreaking bugs) but in 2.0 I got silverhand bug (the screen teraing from relic malfunction; perma sound bugs, where some sound keeps playing, controls keep switching to controler even though i have no controler plugged in, my mods on weapons, cloths and healing item keeps getting unequipt. Its pathetic that after 3 years there are such bugs still in game (or are newly introduced). btw. and im not talking about NPC walking through grounds, dialogs messed up, where its too slow or missing alltogether.....before 2.0 i had 3 full 100% playthroughs (one for each starting) done all endings those took roughly 80 hours each - during none of them i ran in those bugs i described above, so it feels most of them are newly introduced in 2.0...sad...since 2.0 I started whole new 100% run (80 hours deep in) and i´m battling if i should or should not play PL (i´ve decided to 100% main game before entering PL so I´m at start of PL) but i think i should just shelf the game for 1-2y till they fix all the shit and then go once again mby then i´ll enjoy PL but now i feel like even if the PL will be good, i´ll have bad taste in my mouth of it due to SOOOO many bugs.
