Polished, Perfect, and Preem

OG 2020 CP2077 buyer here. Played on PS4Pro on release day. Booted up the game, lost myself completely in the buggy, hobjob mess that was 1.0. Even then, I knew this game was something special. The voice acting, the quest structure, the attention to detail in the world, and even the smallest interactions were fantastically done. Cared for. Got the PS5 update when it dropped, but I stopped playing soon after due to financial hardships wherein I had to sell my console. After the 2.1 PL update, I was able to get the game again, and hot damn did CDPR deliver on their promises to revitalize the game. I've had such a fun time with it, and it will forever be one of my most recommended games to others, whether they hold interest in the genre or not. 10/10. 5/5. 100%. 5 Stars. All the kudos. I am now impatiently waiting for Project Orion, whenever that may happen. CDPR have proven that even if they deliver a buggy mess at launch, they work tirelessly to fix their screw-ups, and that's equally important to my point of view. See ya in the major leagues, chooms.

It's a game that everyone should play

I think the game is good and it’s really not like other game that you have experienced before. The world is beautiful to look at and the story has some great parts, like the detective side quest to save some kid. I enjoyed my time with the game. The Good The story is unique. I liked a lot of parts of the story but I guess I didn’t really like it for my second playthrough of the game. The end of the game had a cool part that I didn’t expect, and I worked for that other ending with those wasteland people but it was still sad. The first time I played this game I got another ending and I liked that more. It told you about what happened after with the arasaka empire and that was cool. The graphics are the best that I’ve ever seen in a game so far. I think a lot of work went into this game. You can save almost whenever you want. The game was easy. The digital comic book “Big City Dreams” that came with the game was actually good. The Bad The launcher sometimes crashed. Once it just froze my pc so I had to brute force shut it down. I don’t know why the launcher needs to be online. I recently forgot to turn off wifi and the launcher updated itself with news about cyberpunk, and now it says that my graphics card version may be outdated for the game. I of course continued playing without updating. Sometimes characters or npcs voice would change to another person when talking. The game has too many fetch quests that waste time. Especially those gig missions. I never completed them all. I don’t think Keanu is a good voice actor but I don’t mind. Conclusion There aren’t that many bad things that I can remember about this game. I just know that it is a game that everyone should probably experience.

Glorious

It was pretty good before, although kinda broken and flawed, but update 2 made it a whole new game. The only things sorely missing are: - Skippable dialogues/cutscenes/walks/rides for the love of god stop doing this, its cool once, but you may just want to replay with another build - Replayable or randomly generated jobs and enemy groups, again for the sake of replayability nothing sucks harder than running out of things to do and enemies to butcher. Dogtown handles this pretty well with frequent soldier encounters, certain very well guarded areas that respawn enemies and the also well guarded air drops, please add these to the rest of Night City

I was constantly reminded of other games

I completed CP2077 a couple of times and Phantom Liberty once. In all cases I was reminded of other games with similar features that I had more fun with. Watch Dogs 1 and 2 for driving and hacking. Deus Ex everything for cyberpunk features. The Witcher series for storytelling. The city was not fun to drive in, nothing flowed, the missions were OK and all in all I was left with a Stephanie Sterling "It's fine" 7/10 experience.
