Next part of great Cyberpunk 2077. It includes great staff including whole new part of the city with its neibourhood, secrets, hidden stories not connected with with main action. But when we talk about main action - it is very good scenario with ending like in best sci-fi thrillers. Some of the paths are very immerse and it is like taking part in Alien but personally. CDP is like always making great job in building scenario and world in game with great interactions
No good ending. I was expecting better dialogues and romance with the companions, especially with Panam, but nothing except a new bad ending is there.
As for cars, car handling is still very bad. Just a soft touch on keyboard and car does 360 or even more spins. I am giving up on driving with car and walking to my quest points. Driving is real PIA.
Police is not improved. Even though I didn't hit anybody they are getting hostile for no reason. Crowd is running away like maniacs when I walk around. I had to turn the sound off because of this nonsense. Why is everyone yelling? I am walking around, no stars, no wanted level, just going to my quest zone, but nope, everyone is losing their minds. Another thing, I am helping police to kill the gang members but police is turning on me. Why? I didn't hit any police crew but they don't like me helping on killing gang members.
Normal drivers are driving like they are in Carmageddon. Why? If there is a pedestrian crossing the street, you won't run over him, right? Wrong! Drivers in this game love to drive over people, then they get killed because I don't like to be runover when crossing street.
2080Ti with RTX on makes my game like a slideshow. Why do I get 20-25 FPS on UWHDQ? Installed on i9 10900KF, 64GB RAM, WD SN850 m2 as RAID 0, but nope, unless I turn off RTX, game performance is very bad.
GoG Galaxy is having issues with cloud saves. I have to restart the client several times to make cloud saves work.
There are also lots of bugs, even in the beginning of game. Like when I am supposed to drive my car after after eating sushi with Jackie in the first quests. Car doesn't move. I have to go 400-500 away from the car and respawn it.
not really happy about the changes to the skill tree and some consumables. but the real problem is how glitchy it made the game. the relic malfunction special effects won't go away now even long after it's suppose to. this use to be a really great game but i'm not sure it's worth playing anymore with the bugs.
which is annoying, but how is nobody comlaining baout how "bethesda" the intro mission is, and how horrible the script is written?
the game completely ignores everything you are (for example a netrunner with gorilla arms) and constantly forces the weird asian girl and the president own your throat and shows you how great and tough they are.
I dont give a flying F, i have high tech steel arms strengthened by nanofiber, i can open a door myself.
kills immersion, and all the useless blabber you have to listen to also is annoying. really, if the intro mission speaks for the rest of this, avoid at all costs.
the intro plays like a LOOOOOOOOOONG and very bad mission in one of the new call of duty games. shame on you, CDPR. you did so well diggin CP77 out of the dirt, and then you do this. who made this dlc, todd howard?
Sat in a darkened room, glass of tequila in one hand, shotgun in the other. Looking for reasons to keep on going as darkness closes in around you. Oh I'm talking about me by the way, not V.
Another exercise in nihilisim from modern day video game writers. So sour and bitter at having their move scripts turned down, they take their disappointment out on us. Why can't I win in games anymore? Why does everything have to come with a soul crushing cost.
This expansion has some really good story elements, a James Bond/Escape from New York type theme in the dystopian city of Night City. Sounds great and indeed I had a lot of fun from the quests in dog town. However the endings...both barrels are loaded. All I can say to the endings is put So Mi on the shuttle and give her the 'Lucy' ending, go all Omar/Brother Mzone on Stringer Bell and then forget that there was ever an option of a cure.
The Bad - Bugs, Driving is possibly the worst it's ever been, Netrunning is now pretty much useless, Might as well walk around naked for as much use a clothing had become, Hate the new skill trees.
Played a new full playthrough after making three new characters (one of each origin), started with Corpo, but at this point I think I'm done with CP2077. Those Street Kid and Nomad toons will get left to rot. My playtime is precious and valuable, to be sat here at the end thinking I wasted my time is the biggest sin a game developer can inflict on a customer. So ultimately after all that we're back where we were Chooms. Riding off into the sunset with Panam, Panam and Judy for Lady V or becoming a Night City Legend, but all with an uncertain future. Or you can just shoot yourself in the head.
