The game is immersive and beautiful, atleast after 2 years. It still has issues with graphical glitches, low res textures on far away buildings and pop in of pedestrians but overall its pretty solid
movement is clunky gun play is trash this should not be a rpg bullet sponge skills tree is meaningless
looks like garbage and also run poorly on a i9 3080ti 64gb ram and on a mvmissd
A rocky start riddled with bugs and quality issues, but now, after numerous patchs, updates and developer love, it has become one of the absolute best experiences on PC.
When I get the first Preorder-Version I liked the game and its experiance on impact.
I didn´t encounter gamebreaking bugs, as reported by others
Today I get the Patch V2.0.
The overhaul of the Charaktersystem is ok.
But I immediatly miss the former loot-system.
I liked to collect anything loose :-). Even if its useless for the story, it is FUN!
But the recharging "Health-Packs" and Grenades are a ridicilous flaw.
Prior to the update you could spam grenades, if you collected enough of them, on your enemies, which was fun. And if you run out of them it was just realistic. Same for the healthpacks.
As recharging-Item it is just annoying in my opinion.
Don´t get me wrong. I still like the game and last for the DLC :-)
I've put more than 300 hours into the game while playing AT LAUNCH on the Series X. The game hasn't changed too much since then until the 2.0 upgrade. I purchased the Series X to play Cyberpunk 2077 at a proper resolution and not be hamstrung by the Xbox One X / Previous Generation limitations.
Played a decent chunk on PC (1.6), it was a lot smoother with less crashing.
AMD FSR changes resulted in a big improvement on frames. Overall, a familiar experience that had more time to cook.
2.0 Changes
Too many changes to raw gameplay. It's a different game now. As others have stated, your character feels very, very weak now. You need to plan your bulid out. You don't get free/fast damage from the skill treeand you don't get to quickly progress through the game by instantly purchasing rare/legendary items in the shops when they appear - instead, you grind. You f*king grind through craftig. There's no choice in the matter. You grind so it drives up the hours played in this f*cking game ==".
1.6 - Roam the streets, get some credits, buy a good legendary revolver, maybe a rare cyberdeck- no biggie because the other decks are locked behind a street cred level. Purchase an Epic Hack/use a rare/epic drop because it fell from an enemy - fantastic - you can do that.
2.0 - You can't do any of the above. The amount of money, loot, credits you get - significantly reduced - IE Bonus Credits/Items from Breach Credits (Previousyl 1000 - 1500 per successful breach, reduced to 100-200 per, even AFTER hitting all 3 breach codes) - wtf is this.
The game now revolves on you grinding enemies, looting and crafting in order to progress through the game. You grind the hours, make it seem like a lot of people are playing this f*cking game in order to make it seem like the game is interesting. It's not. We're being forced to play this way. Goddamn I want my money back.
