Make no msitake - the game is good, but

I trully believe that underneath the bugs and 25 fps on my machine, there is a good game in which you can immerse yourself and lose track of time. The closest feeling I can describe is like watching an episode of Altered Carbon (1st season ofc). Don't expect this to be the 2nd cooming of J as it's always easier to be disappointed than impressed. Just have a look at what it has to offer. That being sad, the game does need more polish across many of its areas (technical, gameplay and story/RPG aspects). I would particularly appreciate better optimisation - for example, I can run Doom Eternal at 60 fps minimum at ultra settings 1080p but can barely run this game (I never reach 60 fps). If I was asked to describe this whole situation in 3 phrases, I would say 1) undercooked, 2) over-marketed, 3) over-ambitious.

What I Expected

If you thought the E3 Demo was what you were getting, then good news that is what this is. Love the game, lots of bugs I have not noticed too may. what I have noticed is that my friends who have better hardware have way more issues than I do. Looking forward to the updates and the future of this game.

Good despite it's flaws

The core story is really good. The entire concept is a welcome change in the videogames market. Game probably should've been a PC exclusive. Seems most of the issues are on console. Game still has some bugs/glitches; needs some rebalancing of damage values, needs a police response system that isn't a toss-up between useless and overpowered. It's clear this game was released under false pretenses. CDPR made the game seem a lot more finished than it was, and made promises they clearly had no chance of keeping without another 3+ years of development. I'm really looking forward to seeing this game fully patched and expanded on, as was intended, but it's looking less and less likely that will happen given investors' response thus far.

I cant believe this sht

We all know abou bugs and glitches and other sht wrong with this game but what made me hate this game is crafting im 60 hours in, i have a lot of common and uncommon crafting components but not so much epic and legendary, i have unlocked whole crafting tree so i can upgrade components but guess what, i have to sit and press and hold craft button houndreds of times to craft a single item, there is no batch crafting or upgrades so if you want craft something be prepared to spend HOURS UPON HOURS TRYING TO CRAFT JUST ONE LEGENDARY ITEM. its almost as if they hate crafting so they made it unbareable

Enjoyable but Missing Something

I will review this objectively where i can in hope that CDPR has a team dedicated to reading feedback and implementing what gamers want overall. Positive:- - Graphics - Most of the story (including side missions) - Variety in solving (some) missions - Character creation choices (appearance) Negative:- - Mission glitches (solving missions in the wrong scripted order) - Lip syncing in (some) conversations - Repetitive side missions (kill / free / steal) - Driving anything other than a bike is like driving on ice - Bland general public interactions - NPC vehicles randonly crashing into barriers for no reason I have played this game now for roughly 100 hours. I have listened to every conversation and chosen every possible dialogue option without skipping anything (unless accidently if i have been crouched whilst conversing and then try to stop crouching). The game has been played on a 4790K, 1060 6GB, 16GB HyperX RAM, 7200rpm HDD with Windows 10 latest build. Most settings are on high with the odd few turned off (motion blur, film grain etc.) Plays smoothly for me at 1080p. I have only come across one crash to desktop which was probably my own doing messing around with a mod. I've had to reload 3 times due to bugging side missions and i have also somehow managed to bug my character into the state where the relic malfunctions permanently and the screen goes hazey once (this was resolved after reloading the game the next day (i actually thought it was part of the story)). I've reach the point of no return in the main story so i'm now completing all side missions. Overall so far i'd give the game a 6.5/10. I really enjoy it but i can see how objectively it needs vast improvements in the AI. Vehicle handling is terrible and i use a controller. More NPC interaction is needed. It would have been more interesting if they added a reputation system with the gangs and then based missions on gangs to branch out so you could be friendly with one and hostile with others.
