Wasted budget
Honestly even after all the reworks, it still feels like a mediocre game at best. It is certainly not a roleplaying game, in the sense that at best you play a pre-made character with incredibly limited decision making, with most conversations consisting of a "Continue" option or "Lets actually talk a bit more before continuing". So combat must be good right? No, not really. Shooters can be rather easy so I played on max difficulty, and half the weapons were useless. Not to mention plenty of times my choice of play style was invalidated for artificial reasons, witch completely stopped my progress. (Hint carry a melee weapon, and something that just shoots bullets quickly) And I heard good things on the expansion, but... Well would my "character", a supposedly anti-corporation nomad, would be just cool with helping the root of all "evil" in the form of the literal president of this game's world? I did not previously read what the expansion included before playing it, but when this was revealed in game I thought this must be surely a joke or a twist. It was not. Honestly the most fun or cool thing this game has is that at the start of the game, the "being lost on an unknown city" feel was quite strong and made walking around pretty cool, but that's a fleeting thing.

Beautiful game but needs work on bugs
Played the game for a good while and experienced a number of bugs, frame drops, and nuisances: 1.) The most noticable bug is the fumes/smoke coming out of houses. During playthrough, it begins to emit static and move in a odd way which does not contrast with the city. (It's an obvious bug.) 2.) NPCs skip around and usually phones or remotes that the hold disappear and reappear. 3.) The nuisance I expereinced in the game are the ads, stock market, and other trivial addons on your HUD that block your playthrough. I get the aethestic of playing in a Cyberpunk game but this takes screen space. It would be better if they were worthwhile addons during let's say a mission or walking in the city for bounties and whatnot. (Just throwing that out.) 4.) The controls were ported from console to PC. Consideration of PC gamers were left last and I am hoping CD Project can look into this. For the people who want to buy this game, wait a couple of weeks or maybe months. This game is playable but there are bugs that will detract you from being immersed in this great game. However, I will say the FPS mechanics are awesome!

Poor optomization
Currently at launch the game is pretty much not optimized. I am running an i7-8700k and a GTX 1080Ti For some ungodly reason instead of utilizing the GPU it used about 2% of it and instead decides to bottleneck on the CPU at a 100%. Normally this would indicate a CPU bottleneck and you should be upgrading your CPU. Here is the big but; BUT my specs (for both my CPU and GPU, and pretty much everything else) are far above what was reccomended, and even the recently newly adjusted reccomendations. Changing graphics settings doesn't do a thing; the game runs at a consistent below 40 frames (dipping to the low 20's in open city areas, which is most of the game) weather I have all my settings at the highest they can be, or the lowest of the lows. At both ends of the settings spectrum my CPU is being used 100% and my GPU isn't being utlized at all. I also set the crowd desnity to as low as it could go, that in turn also didn't do a thing. After reading up online this seems to be a common problem with people running different types of i7 CPU's and a Nvidia graphics card (from what I've seen all the way from a low 970, to people with 2080's). Meanwhile a friend of mine who also got the game is running it on the same CPU as me, with a 1060 without having this issue. For now I'm leaving it here since the game is in essence unplayable. I will be checking in daily to see if the game has been patched and if so will test to see if it now works properly. Once it does I will adjust this review and it's score to show that since what I have played of the game so far (first half hour to an hour or so) has been super fun despite these issues. TL:DR; Buying this game whilst you have a nvidia card currently seems to be a 50/50 weather or not it works. I'll update if the issue gets patched.
