BEST COMEBACK EVER!

I had this game on console, and yes, it was buggy. Some years passed by and the game remained untouched. I felt a huge frustration because i really loved the aesthetics and im into RPGs. After it made noise again, and we started getting updates and the PL DLC i decided to take the risk and buy it for PC. ill never regret doing that. its like a completely different game. great game, amazing story, bunch of things to do, and even a weekend game if you only focus on the main story. not to mention the graphics. this has become my second favorite game of all time, just after Chrono Trigger. Highly recommended. this game really deserves a second review by all of those who gave it a bad rating, which it deserved at the time. but nowadays its a different story.

Please, make vinyl set available again

It took me almost 4 years to complete it. From time to time I tried to play and this game never got me for more than 4 hours. But finally I found time, took a vacation and complete it. First of all, besides hardware issues, numerous bugs and glitches on release (and sometimes after patches), it is a good game. It is somewhat close to masterpiece, but something is missing for me. I guess, the only part which I don't like both in main story and the DLC is the lack of real consequences of your decisions or actions. Anyway, main story is fine, PL is great. Gameplay-wise it was not bad, nothing more. Builds and classess look interesting, but repetitiveness of the side quests/activities make it redundant. Mission design is also ok. There is some stupid decisions, but it is acceptable for me. Soundtrack is a strong side. I'd say that main chunk of the immersion in the game is created by the sound. CDPR did a good job optimizing the game after all. It's now playable and you can enjoy it if you don't have high expectations.

Absolute Cinema

I remember back in 2018 seeing all the trailers and beng jenuenly excited, especially as a 12 year old. Then I remember the mess in 2020 when it came out and was unplayable, but since I only had a PS4 back then I couldnt play it anyway. Then, 7 months ago, I decided that its time, after rewatching Edgerunners for the 3rd time I finally decide to play the actual game. And it did not pull me in right away. I completed the first coupole of missions, got to the Delamain cars quest and stopped. Now, 7 months later, I reinstall the game, and complete it after the total of 26 hours. Peak. Perfection. I willl leave this game to sit for a while, then come back to complete the side gigs to get 100% completion, and start a new save, for another ending. Then Phantom Liberty. Can't wait...

Unplayable due to visual glitches

Looks CD Projekt Red made its developers crunch for months to release a product that still is nowhere close to ready. I have a game-breaking visual bug from the very first scene (the infamous tree glitch). This is beyond embarrassing. Next time stick to a more realistic timeline, we can wait until you finish the game properly without abusing the work/life balance of the developers that work for you. I will update my score in a few months once the game is actually fixed.

Not ready for playing

I've yet to see a single mission or a location without a couple of irritating bugs.
