It has potential

The game has pretty much no AI for cars or pedestrians. Cars will fade out of existence if you look away, or get too far away, or get too close because you saw the far away car PNG's. It ends up feeling lifeless and empty. STORY: The story feels like it has a time limit, and everyone talks about how dead you are and how little there is to do about it. Everytime I do anything but the main story I feel like I'm wasting time. No one seems to care about the fact that you are dying, even yourself at times. It's dificult to take the world and the characters serious. CHARACTERS: The character interactions are really bad. It's just you putting your life on the line for them whenever they ask. You never get any help or real support from them. When you are in the hospital for a long time and want to talk to people, they don't have time for you. RPG: There are no RPG elements except for levels that do very little, and tiny dialogue options that do nothing and changes nothing. COMBAT: The combat is terrible, because the fps are terrible. Either you one shot enemies and can take 100 bullets without dying, or you get one shot. When against enemies of even level you can only really take 3-4 shots before dying, so melee is pretty bad. Bosses will just run at you and do melee strikes, which will make them glide along the floor in a punshing animation, they are a joke. END: All in all it's a mediocre experience at best or boring and rage inducing at worst. The bugs are plentiful and will kill you as well as waste minutes to hours of your life. I do believe it has potential. The world building and locations are absolutely fantastic. You being a freelance merc with fixers is a good concept ruined by your imminent death. The technical side of the team needs to step up. The story and character writers need to be better. It has potential, but little else.

its Witcher 3 all over again...

never have i experienced such a massive and immersive game as this. i load into the game ONCE. and then play in an incredibly fantastic sandbox. the fantasy is exciting and a sight to behold. i walk the streets of night city in the rain. the rain abates and the fog settles on the pier. mc looks over the horizon... tech noir at its finest and best implementation, in my opinion, ever. i updated my machine in anticipation of this game. yes im that crazy. ultra/psycho settings across the board. its amazing. im playing a 4K movie, in real time. the issue comes when you are wanting to treat the movie like an RPG. you need to grind A LOT to get the best stuff AND the controls, like witcher3 back then are atrocious. barring all the broken quests and bugs. something that really got to me, was during a battle. in this instance, you are meant to 'box' with a cyborg. feint, block, dodge, attack. all ok. but in so doing, during a 'slow motion' dodge of the enemy's kick attack; i was able to witness the 'auto aim' rotate the enemy position, in a mid-air kick, towards my block. that is to say, i correctly predicted the algorithm's movement and attack then correctly dodged to the side, only to see the algorithm simply rotate the enemy combatant, to force a 'block' calculation on my character, ultimately resulting in a 'die roll' of a block attempt, to be negated and my subsequent death... interesting. when i stepped back from my hype day dream; i found myself heavily annoyed at that one aspect of the game. then when i stepped back further. i realized the game's story limits your ability to explore, due to the programmers locking down the city so you are forced to play the story to 'unlock' the map. well, then, sucks to be me, as i wanted to steal a car and drive to the edge with in the first minutes of gameplay. BUT YOU CANT! i digress. what if i want to kill dex. and be an outlaw? what if i want to blow up afterlife? it is visually stunning but grindy and linear...

Awful Optimization

Regretfully bought two copies of this game for my Xbox Series X and high-end PC. Unless you have a truly top-end PC with the very newest hardware specs, you are not able to run this game fluidly. Without a very expensive PC, your options are to run at a very low framerate and mediocre quality or else horrendously low quality and mediocre framerate. As innovative an approach to an open-world RPG Cyberpunk 2077 may be, the graphical and processing intensity is completely unjustified when the majority of this game's audience do not have the hardware to handle it.

Cyberjunk 2020

Aovid this wonky unfinished mess. Content is lacking and your stuck with side missions that are all the same just called different names, highley repetitive gameplay. life path is pointless all leads to the same conclusion. The main story is very short, 7hrs highest diffulculty tops. Dialogue options are meaningless, they have no outcome on the story. Character creation is pointless because you never see your character. Its impossible to interact with npcs other than vendors, who always saw the same things. There are very limited models for the city npcs, turn a corner see the same crowd again. Fantastic graphics on pc and runs great too, city and buildings look truly next gen. Truly this could have been a masterpiece, but alas not to be.

I Love this Game

I have the Stadia version and it works very well. I also noticed minor bugs here, but nothing that could spoil my fun. The story and side missions are like in The Witcher 3, told very lovingly and in detail. The characters have real personalities. Emotional moments can even make tears run down my cheeks. The graphics on Stadia are ok, but could be set higher and maybe it will get a raytracing update? The gameplay is also very good. The gunplay feels damn good. The driving experience has also become good. Movement of the figure runs smoothly and as it should be. But now to the negative aspects - the bugs. There are harmless bugs like a cell phone floating in the air, but there are also bugs like that the controls suddenly no longer work, which makes you feel annoyed during a mission. In between the game can crash. But it all happens relatively rarely and I can overlook it. A word about AI in the open world ... It's really not good. NPCs just stubbornly run straight. If you put a car in the way, the NPCs simply turn around or run in circles. They hardly react to the player. You can address them, but without feedback. That's too bad. I even expected more. I know the CD Project is working on bugs. And for the failed PS4 version, I get my money back. This is a really great action by Red. The fifth star is given when the bugs have been fixed.
