Recommending this game to play!

This is buggy piece of crap. Everywhere you go, you will see bugs with mission characters: someone falls under the texure, and you can't continue to play mission! You even can't restart it. Physics of cars in GTA: San Andreas is much more better. 20-30 fps on my GTX 1650, low quality of graphics, 720p, that's our next-gen gaming. Game of the decade, treasure of generation. Do not buy this, please, do not support these mediocrities from CD Projekt Red.

Way to short - too many missing features

This game got rushed way before it was finished. The main story is what you would expect from a 10-15 hour rail shooter. Way to short, almost no meaningful choices, shalow and plot holes so big you could drive an aircraft carrier through. And you can't really play on after you finished it. The list of missing promised features is too long for a review, there are lots of threads in the forums anyway. You can't even change your hairstyle after character creation. The world as such is well built. The world of Cyberpunk and Night City are beautiful to look at - as far as the horrible performance, flying npcs or raining cars let you enjoy it. I could play this game on medium settings without raytracing. Looked well enough and really enjoyed the first hours of the game. Takes a while to notice how shallow it really is. Didn't have any crashes or gamebreaking bugs. So if you don't have outdated hard- and software (like Windows 7 or an Windows 10 - build from before 2019) you should be able to play it - at leasst on pc. Worth 60 €? Well there are worse games, but don't expect anything as big or immersive as The Witcher 3.

Masterpiece

It's a masterpiece, but with two problems: 1) everyone knew that it will be something special, so no "wow effect" like it was with a witcher 2) it's a giant game, it has some bugs (mostly solved by relaunchign the game). Still, bugs will be fixed (like it was with all huge games). People who designed a Night City (I can't even imagine how much tiem they spent on it) deserved a monument. Music is just awesome, graphics, dialogues - everything is great. P.S. update your nVidia drivers, it solves most of problems.

Good game, but certainly not great

Graphics: 7/10 Sound: 5/10 Playability: 7/10 Story: 8/10 (still in the middle of game) Voice actors: 9/10 Summarizing how much I enjoy this game: 7-/10. The story an idea were great with potential 10+/10 but due to game contruction it was f*cked up. Simply a case of wasted potential. List of some things that were done really badly. - Collectibles - Joy killer no. 1. Seriously item grinding in game that was supposed to be about the story? Waste of players time... waste on programmers time! There were at least 3 better commonly used systems for that. - Back ground - It looks cheap. The buildings and streets are cool but when you roam around the textures on ground looks rather bad. This is mostly due to crappy collectibles and it's surrounding. - Map - Seriously I don't see difference in map between Cyberpunk, DA 3 and Andormeda. It's literally covered with small tasks. After you finish them it's completely empty. - Small tasks - As above, it's simply what DA and ME fans hated in DA3 and Andromeda. You just run from mark to mark, wasting your time on running around like an idiot. Wasn't it better s Fixxer gives you bunch of missions per how much of the story you covered? That would make player relations with fixxers much closer and gave quite an amount of oportunities to use it in story. - Life like - Well at the first glance city seems to be living but then you can notice that it's not. What hurts more is that support characters are often also dead inside. - Upgrading - here we go back to collectibles... look at my new gun from 2 Old Cans, 1 Vinyl and few Bottles of Vodka. Seriously... - Rag dolls - It's half-assed. It says a story of a plan for this was to be something great but it didn't work out so whatever solution has been used... It would be much better if a standard approach was used. - Openness of the world -In short GTA. That's far from what I expected.

Boring story, frustrating play

The character development alienated me from the get go. Instead of having one strong character, you can choose from meaningless combinatorial menus of character modifications. The three different life paths entail nothing as you end up playing the same missions and having the same generic dialogs regardless. I was unable to engage with the story at all, found it boring for the most part. The main character feels generic, lifeless, as do the other characters I encountered. I never grew attached to anything or anyone in this game, and nothing piqued my curiosity. Perhaps this is the point - an alienating future city with exchangeable robot-like characters. It just didn't work for me. I played this on PC with an XBOX controller. There are some unfortunate flaws, like crouching having the same button as dialog skip. But the bigger issue is everything else. Shooting and combat isn't much fun, but stealth mode isn't great either. The "brain dance mechanic" struck me as over-engineered and tedious. There's no doubt that tremendous effort went into creating this ambitious title. It shows in all the details. But for me this just did not come together in one enjoyable gaming experience.
