A lot of bugs from the start

I tried playing this game on medium settings with rtx2070 + 3440*1440 display. No major performance issues without DLSS. It overall runs good. However first impressions of game are really not great and I would advice people to not rush into game at this point of time. First things I encountered after starting the game were bugs: 1. Some characters weren't rendered properly while standing in front of me. 2. While running through city streets I saw randomly rendered trees right in front of my face. These things blocked my view. No idea what was going on. In terms of fight. I really disliked fights when you have to shot a lot into single enemy to kill. Typically when I play FP game I prefer to kill fast/die fast. Like in Bioshock for example. In this game shooting just doesn't feel good. Graphics looks promising, but I wasn't impressed with medium settings, and my GPU won't allow me to play it with higher settings on high resolution. But who cares when there are a lot of bugs and gameplay doesn't feel good?

This game will be forgotten.

In all honesty, there are many things I enjoy about this game. However, it is deeply flawed. The story is excellent as is the voice acting. However, as a game, there are many things hampering my full enjoyment. I'm not saying you shouldn't buy this game. However, next year-- maybe six months from now-- No-one will be talking about this game. Firstly, the music is awful. There is no cohesion at all giving the idea this is a score. It is a collection of forgettable sounds. There is no theme or motifs to bind it all together. The radio music is awful as well. I often turn off the music out of irritation as soon as I get into a car. It all feels very similar and genre inappropriate. The action gameplay feels like an inferior version of Syndicate 2012. I quite enjoyed that game, so this is not such a bad thing. However, it is an inferior version of that game's shooting. Nothing quite feels as unsatisfying as sliding up to someone, shooting them point blank in the face with a shotgun and having them shrug it off. Combat feels non-lethal, which brings us to a third point. The source material seem underutilised. This isn't a problem per se, but why make a Cyberpunk 2020 game if you are going to ignore the themes and setting of this RPG? In a hyper-deadly world of style-versus-effectiveness, you have a looter shooter where you are constantly swapping out your gear for slightly better gear, giving the impression that earlier guns are not actually guns. There is no realism to that progression. This is not an RPG. You have little choices in this game. Most dialogue has a choice between "advance dialogue" and "gather more info" like Mass Effect. But that game atleast had renegade and paragon. If this game is an RPG, then so is the Division. Night City feels tedious and isn't laid out with any sort of rational order. Johnny Silverhand is a carricature of a person. And I hope you like warehouses. With tuning, this game could be wonderful. Presently, it is not.

Incredible but needs more polish

Many people say that this game only consists of bugs and others wanted a new GTA. Am I the only person aktually enjoying this incredible game? Also I have experienced minor graphic bugs, but they were too small to ruin my game experience and I am absulutely not surprised that a game of this size and ambition is not completely polished at launch. Many of the bugs will for sure be fixed soon.

Controller support needs to function

I am loving the game so far and I do play with mouse and keyboard but I don't want to drive with a keyboard. I was hoping I could have my Xbox One controller on and I could just grab it any time I get into a car but it turns out that using a controller for Cyberpunk barely works. Joysticks or right trigger don't work at all, making the game unplayable if you want to play or drive with a controller. Everywhere I look for solutions or simply in reviews, controllers simply not working seems like the norm and really needs to be addressed soon. Until controllers work, I'll keep this review low
