The plot (so far) and the graphics are outstanding. The gameplay is damn fine as well as core mechanics, however... There is quite a lot of 'small' things that need to be worked on (like crafting balance, bugs, controles remap ect).
In my humble opinion if it would be delayed another few months it would be 5/5 experience.
By far the latest update xbox one fps improves and now runs on 22-25 every xbox one base consoles need is 28-30 fps and 720-1080 resolution plss cdpr how ps4 can run 1080p when the graphics system of xbox one is better and cpu is better when it comes to hertz ps4 has lower ghz in cpu than xbox one in graphics ps4 has 800MHz while xbox one has 853MHz but in xbox one it runs only 720-900p???? Come
On cdpr we want to improve the graphics and performance
So first I would like to point out that I was not buying too much into the hype surrounding the game and I avoided all except the Braindance tutorial demos b/c I was expecting the game being story driven and did not wanted any spoilers. Knowing the Witcher series games I was expecting the game to be somewhat similar to the Witcher. however in the setting similar to Deus Ex.
What good things I've got in this game:
1. Not bad story overall (I completed the whole game in about 60 hours without too much of activities (basically was rushing through the story), currently 20+ hours in 2nd playthrough, however trying to cleanup as much as can)
2. Cool setting that make me think about "Deus Ex", "Neuromancer", "Do androids dream of electric sheep?", "Lawnmover man" movie and getting some vibe of the (spoiler?) concept behind "Altered Carbon".
3. Interesting combat concept where you can go either guns blazing or sit in the corner casting spells/quickhacks on the enemies.
4. Majority of the characters makes sense and quite memorable.
5. Overall game story feels like "Fallout: New Vegas" (before any DLCs which were throwing you into completely different environments and even were trying to give you completely different game like "Dead Money" or "Old World Blues") and the ending is definitely in line with that.
6. Witcher Vision got another upgrade which is fun.
7. Braindance missions.
What I did not like about the game:
1. So far I did not come across any fun contracts like in the Witcher 3 where you come to the scene, trying to investigating it, etc.
2. V voice acting is not good whether it is male or female (at some places I was getting impression that voice actor was reading from script). Just compare to Panam, Dex, River, etc.
3. Soundtrack.
4. Combat is a bit clunky, but it's been a problem of all Witcher games.
5 "YOU CANNOT SAVE AT THIS TIME" -- so you are 20+ minutes in the combat and bit the bullet from last enemy. Welcome to another half an hour of same combat.
This is about a big of a screwup as it gets, not only have you released a game that is misleading in something as basic as system requirements and presets; good luck trying to run the game on the systems you told this would work on, for heavens sake, the game can´t even hold itself together under its own weight of obvious systems half finished.
the first goal of every game should be that the program is stable and that performace is acceptable for the preset you choose. This game fails at both.
Those 8 MILLION preorders and 40% of those being on consoles? Those 40% should probably get a refund while avaible and they are not going to pay for your "experiances" for the foreseeable future.
I hope the money you get are spent in QA and some management courses for you seem to have need of both.
I only play single player games, and mostly open world. I've played all of CD Projekts games to date and always love them.
Cyberpunk is great, I'm very sure they will perfect and expand this game.
I was not even planning on playing it for a few months after release as developers are always under pressure by fans to release the games "NOW!" and therefor the games are never finished properly. I don't care really.
I gave it a shot and aside from some minor bugs, I'm very happy.
I could care less about fps or fov, the graphics are fine, I don't sit there with a meter just seeing how high the numbers go, If it's visually pleasing with no noticeable lag, i'm happy. Even with settings on ultra without overclocking, this is perfectly fine.
I don't think putting these guys under pressure, destroying their market share, and berating them is fair.
I'd say nearly everyone asking for refunds will just buy again in a month or two anyway so just chill.
Hopefully all of this trouble and all the complaints don't affect any future DLC's etc.
Story is good, could use a bit more realism regarding police response
Driving sensitivity controls, and driving update in general. When I first started playing it didn't feel like the vehicle was driving, but more hydroplaning on the surface of the road.
Could use more options for making money, stock market, job options, bigger ticket items, etc...
One thing I hate about many games is constantly having to level your equipment...Constantly..... upgrading is very costly in parts and only increases by a small amount Assassins creed odyssey was the worst for this, The witcher 3 wasn't bad at all really, but I'm getting the same bad feeling from Cyberpunk of late, I'd rather find a nice gun set I like, and clothing, and just upgrade them as I did in the Witcher for example. I'd say that is my biggest gripe.
