Fantastic game up to CDPR standards.

I didn't play this game at lunch because of the bad reviews mentioning terrible performance and and lots of bugs, but I decided to give it a go after watching Edgerunners, and I can say it is a great game now. It runs really well on my system which isn't the most powrful one out there, and I have experienced very few bugs, nothing gamebreaking. So far I'm absolutely loving it. It is clear that CDPR has put a lot of work and love into getting this game to where it is now, and I can wholeheartly recommend it to anyone who likes RPGs, open world games, and/or the Cyberpunk themes and asthetic.

It's a Masterpiece!

I'm seeing all the Hate and Complaining about this Game, lot of Armchaircritics, which i can not understand. That is not fair at all! Shame on the Haters! The Game is an absolute Masterpiece. It's intelligent, complex, very well written and just breathtaking to look at. There are so many Details, so much Love that went into the Game. I've played 100 Hours and I'm not sure if I have seen even 50% of it. You can really dive into Night City and it's unique atmosphere. There are so many ways to play gameplaywise and I'm really looking forward to explore many more of them. Surely there are some little flaws like the crafting System or some minor Bugs at this Point. I can only talk about the Game from Version 1.5 onwards, but CD Project Red hasn't been giving up und thankfully released a whole lot more Content to enjoy. They had every Chance to make this Game with Microtransactions, In-Game-Store or Multiplayer, but they didn't. That's really not appreciated by most of the Gamers. I can only say THANK YOU!!! YOU'RE BREATHTAKING! Enjoy this Masterpiece - it's worth every Cent of your Money

A Good Game, Somewhat Fairly Dogpiled

This game was a disaster on release, it reminds me of Batman: Arkham Knight's PC release, but for everything. That said, it's pretty stable now, most of the worst bugs are squished. And, like Arkham Knight, it is clear in hindsight that this is a very fun time. Unfortunately, it's doomed to remain in people's minds only as a failure, despite having a really excellent game trapped under the fallout. What would have made it even better is deciding between looter shooter and RPG, because it compromises on both. That said, the sheer amount of love poured into this game is apparent at every turn, it's unfair to characterize it as a failure, and the story is borderline unforgettable.

Bland and totally forgettable

I bought this on launch, played through it twice and then unistalled it for two years. Initially I didn't have a lot off game breaking bugs but it felt unfinsihed. The same 5 NPC's make up every crowd. There's about 5 animations for NPC's in the world. It's all so shallow, and there's nothing to see that makes exploring the empty world justified. I reinstaled it 2 years after launch and nothing has changed. It runs better, but the actual game is still awful. It's not an RPG, as you don't get to role play a character. You get to walk a pre written character down a path you have no control over. It's 100% linear in story and you can't influence it at all. It's also one of the least cyberpunk games that aims at that genre. Cyberpunk isn't just body mods and neon lights, but that's all this is. The writting throughout is dreadful. It tries so hard to be cool and edgy but it just comes across like something on r/im14andthisisdeep. It's just bad. I'd forgetten about almost all of the characters and story beats in the two years between play throughs. Some of the VA work is also dreadful and a lot of the characters vary a lot in quality of recording. Keanu Reeves is also a very bad addition, he's not a VA and it shows. There's a lot of good mods now though that make this more playable, but so far not much in the way of good content expansions. But modders have still done way more to fix this that the studio. Mods to fix the cars. broken quest triggers etc make it something that can be finished without a headache. Lastly, it's a really easy game. There's no challenge to it even on higher diffficulties, you'll walk through the terrible AI until the moment you meet a totally normal looking gang member who is immune to you hits but can take you down in 2. I've no clue if this is a bug, but it's bizarre. Don't buy this. It's not worth it unless it's free. It's just a straight up bad, forgettable game.

disappointed

… mostly, it's performance issues and weird character animations and I'm spoikled with Deus EX series I have to give it a 2 stars
