Spent like 3 hours looking for clues in a Brain Dance investigation because the clues weren't being removed from the timeline after I found them.
Several other bugs and poor optimization.
Game is great, just wait for it to be patched. Give it like a year.
I have about 5 or 6 hours in and i have never crashed, but i have had some FPS drop in the car with mostly eveything on ultra. I got the PC download card from my work and i didnt have any problems downlading. I get the controls are kinda wack but they can change that easy in a patch and same with peoples crashing. this game has so much potienal given time and care
My build is a
RX 5600 XT
Ryzen 7 3700x
32gb RAM
1TB 970 EVO ssd
Well, I didn't expect fireworks. I was going in with expectation I barely scrape by at minimal requirements. Apparently I have nearly recommmended specs for 1080p. I miss 3GB VRAM on my GTX1060 and I have one gen too old i7 for that, but it still is well above minimal specs. And menu looks nice. But that's so far as I've gotten. Game crashes without a miss like 10 seconds into it after character creation. Which made settings testing horrible as game doesn't let you save during that 10 seconds, so you need to recreate your character each time. (Btw. CDPR there's a reason why games tend to use sliders, clicking through 60 hairstyles that I don't even have miniatures to refer to is tedious.)
I expect the game to be good when it's fixed. But it's not the Witcher 3 level of bugs, which were mostly funny, but not game destroying. The game is quite unplayable with the crashes and from what I've heard, even those who got further ahead didn't have a good time of play without the crashes.
I'll rerate the game if the crashes are fixed. But so far, unless you want to support CP77 for non-game reasons, stay off.
At current stage, the game has performance issues and a lot of bugs. But other than that, although action RPG aspects are satisfactory, the same cannot be said for open world and AI aspects. I hit a police car with police officers in it and they don't care at all. I leave my vehicle in the middle of the road and nobody cares. Game engine (de)spawns pedastrians and cars prematurely or unconvincingly which kills the immersion. It almost seems like an unfinished game. Definitely needs an enchanced edition or 2.0.
