This game just feels... empty I guess?

It is fine. It's not great. The world design is absolutely beautiful and thats probably the best thing in this game. This could be very successful cyberpunk walking simulator. Characters and vehicles look good. Visual customization aspect of everything like your character and cars is absolutely nonexistnet. You can't have robotic arm or leg like half of the NPC's have? Can't customize cars? Can't customize your own character in game? Can't buy another apartment in a large city or somehow customize the one I already have? World AI is just really dull, they walk, they talk, they run a little when threatened and... that's all. They dont even have some interesting or funny personal info on them when you scan them, like in Watch Dogs. Car AI is terrible, period. Story is good so far, I am not finished yet, but don't expect this to be RPG, there is none RP here. Main missions are pretty straightforward, story driven adventure. Side missions are being showed up your a*s by phone calls and they are so far based all on the same principe - infiltrate, retrieve/kill, escape. The only decision you are making in this game is whether you are playing Terminator or Dishonored style. Combat feels quite fine, lot of weapons, stealth possibilities are good, distractions through hacks which could do more, there is variety of skills to choose and it seems, like you need a little bit of everything. I had experienced several bugs of enemies being alerted inifinitely long, seeing me through wall etc. This game has literally no cover system. Absolutely none, best you can do is crouch and hide behind object and pray that the object is high enough, to not get headshoted or not be spotted by an enemy. And crouch toggle with C does not work everytime, even in combat, this is probably caused by "skip dialog" shortcut interfering with it. This game has definitely a lot of space for improvement. Buy it for full price only if you want to support CD Projekt Red, othervise wait for discount.

What a disapointment

The story is somewhat interesting and the dialouge between the characters is very cool and well-written most of the time, but this is really not a fun game.

Unfinished (Need No Mans Sky Overhaul)

I have been playing games for last 20 years now, from PC to consoles to phones. This was probably the first and last game I pre-ordered. Cyberpunk has a great backstory and deep lore, but maybe that is the problem. The game is super ambitious but while trying everything, it wasn't able to make anything great at all. And the bugs yeah they take you out of the experience "A LOT", which is sad to see as this game is all about that only. TBH it needs a MAJOR overhaul like No Mans Sky, then only the price tag of a Triple A title is justifiable. To conclude I do have faith in CD Projeckt Red Developers, but game creation is an epitome of art form which needs to kept away (mostly) from money to make it better.

Its not about the Bugs....

The gameplay is good but not perfect. Close combat is not satisfying. Shooting is pretty standard. Sidequests are good but, except for some quests (mainly because of the cyberpunk scenario), there is nothing really special. The abilities of the character are really boring. Only a few add some cool mechanics. Disappointing. The World looks great but i miss really cool environments. The desert isnt one of them. But we have to wait, like always, for the enhanced Edition. I m in act 3 now and ll finish the game once. Not sure about a second walkthrough. Maybe with the dlc if they add something cool and new. To sort my review: i did not expect a gta. That is not the reason why i feel a bit sad. I did not play any gta except 1+addon, 2 and 5 (because it was free) btw.

Yawnnnnn...

Open world seems very closed off, uninteresting, the story is OKAY but not as gripping as say the Witcher. And when bragging about how good the witcher was i would expect cyberpunk to have lived upto the story telling that made the witcher so good. You should be able to skip the BD sections of the game as these are terrible and pretty much just hold up the progress of the game and why? I understand it giving you an insite to the story but they're so dull. I got the game not expecting much but i thought the story and the way the story is told would be gripping and make the game as a whole enjoyable, but its just a broken game that feels terrible to play with a bland storyline. 10 out of 10 for marketing, I will give the game a two star rating. Buy it when its on sale sure, then you wont be as dissapointed.
