Extremely conflicted about cyberpunk.

I have played game through once. I chose a path, and started playing. I was going to do a lot side missions, but I started to see bugs and I saw experiences from other players who had worse experience. I chose to continue the game and not refund and play it through. I got funny and not breaking bugs until final battle where there was few game breaking bugs. I had to load back to get past them. On one hand as experience it was worth 3 starts. writing for the path I chose (nomad) was good. I have heard that nomad is the best written path. The action and the city was meh to ok. the end of the game was really really gooooooooood. The ending was 5 stars. But the bugs and lies and BS really brings it down to 2. It is playeble and even enjoyable in its current state and some people might not like that false advertising and such should't be included in the review, but even the bugs make it go down to weak 3 stars. I include false advertising and give it a 2. I revisit the game maybe after 6 months or when enough patches have been released (PC will be on the back in the line now after sony pulled CP from their store)

Just stay away for now

Not worth the money or time to play, wait a year or two when the price is sub 10 bucks and majority of the bugs have been fixed, or they just abandon the game, which is more likely.

Over all Opinion

I have come around, to kind of like CP2077. It still, is no defense from what it is, a Technological mess, at its core. Bugs, glitches, performance issues on all platforms. I will say, admit, it is, okay at best and quite bad at worst. NPC's are like a brick, with the same kind of nature like on, barely reacting to an object in their path, other than just standign still and staring into the abyss that is your soul. Anyway, aside from that, immersion is...rather.....of a mixed bag, in Kingdom Come Deliverance, immersion is so much, much potent, even if it still has to this day, graphical issues and glitches. So, my final verdict is, CP is a very, very rough mineral, now, it is up to others, to see if it becomes a Diamond or is just a worthless pebble

Fix Regina Jones Quests and Calls

I can't play it after 60 HOURS of play due to finished quests being restarted and quest which does not want to end (Regina Jones quests). And I wasn't getting calls from Regina Jones until patch 1.05, now yes but out of order. So annoying. I didn't pay for early access, CD Projekt, but a finished game. A game that is finished is not a game that is 95% finished. I won't talk about broken business promises / lies. It's not over and while I can accept the minor bugs, I cannot accept having my 60 hour game ruined by bugged quests. I will change that part of the assessment and my score when I can finish your game. ++Otherwise on the positive side, the game is immersive if you are lucky enough not to see too many minor bugs (and there are a lot of them). He is also very handsome graphics. ++Storyline: disappointing intro, writing is fine. +-Acceptable driving for me, it's not GTA, it's closer to a Far Cry, I don't mind. It just works lol. +++I really like the design of the city, the cars, the guns, everything. +++Musics are awesome. ++I have no problem with the gunplay, I find it cool and bloody. I don't try melee weapons much, but it's not my style. ++-Discretion is not perfect, far from it, but you can be discreet. You can for example use your hacking to deactivate defenses, scan enemies or even neutralize enemies without needing to get your hands dirty. Of course you can do it the old way, it works (guaranteed by Todd Howard). ---BUT AI is the major issue whether for combat / stealth or for cars or cops. For stealth: sometimes the enemy sees you through objects, so be careful. It only happened to me two / three times. There is a lot to say about AI but others are already talking about it very well. +++I appreciate the effort in translating the game in general, Rockstar should take your cue from you for that. The TV, radio and commercial programs are a real plus and they are fully translated (I sincerely applaud). Sorry if English isn't perfect, it's not my language

Unacceptable Bug & Repsonse To It

I had written a full review, followed with explaining why I am giving it a 1/5. But since GOG wants to crash, I'm not re-writing it. Instead, heavy cliff notes. I have a 20-hour Heavy Weapons Nomad save. Shooting is okay. Not good, not bad. Same with character customization, could be a lot better. And the fact you can't customize your appearance later is extremely disappointing. Driving takes a bit to get used to. Especially with KB&M. Also, no vehicle customization? Really? I dislike the fact they made this a Looter Shooter. Having to constantly cycle through gear you find and get rid of what you have. This especially bothersome, when you find weapons & clothing you really like. And the fact they don't have transmog, your character looks like a walking style disaster. It doesn't matter if you hardly see your character in-game. I want my character to look the way *I* want them to look. This can be solved through looting & crafting, allowing you to upgrade your weapons & clothes. But due to how stingy receiving components are; along with the high amount needed to actually upgrade items, it's better to just use the new items you pick up. With take away from the fact it's a RPG. To play the way YOU want to play. Now, onto why I am giving this a 1/5, when it originally would've been a 3/5. There is a bug that corrupts your save file, when it reaches a cap of 8MBs. Usually, occurring around the 50-hour mark or less if you craft often. Easily half what you could do in TW3. What is CDPR's response to? "Just focus on beating the game, make a new character & repeat." Really? That's it? What about all of the side-activities? No response. Will you expand the data cap? "We MIGHT expand it in a future patch." Might? You MIGHT expand it? An Open World RPG with hundreds of actives with a very small Time & Data Limit in 2020. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. You deserve your fall from grace, CDPR. And judging from everything, it will be a hard one. Enjoy the flight.
