Cyberpunk 2077

Thanks to the Devs!! Although many people are hating this game at the moment, I love it! I'm getting tired of seeing people slating this game so I thought I'd write about my own experience. Played around 50hrs now, and I haven't really even touched the main story much. I've spent a hell of a long time checking out the scenery and exploring. The verticality of everything is built on a huge scale. I just died after jumping off what i thought was a ground floor bridge, only to discover I had jumped about 50m down to the ground of another level. I can honestly say I have never played a game where its hard to find the ground floor, brilliant! The huge amount of detail in this game is astonishing, I'm only just discovering all the little perks for each playstyle and how they change everything. Theres loads to do! Each new area brings different aspects to the game and you can really see that the devs have put hrs into everything. It's difficult to tell if assets have been duplicated as everything looks so different. So the bugs...... Who cares!! THEY'LL GET FIXED!! And some of them are hilarious! My favourite one so far is bouncing of a window and being hurled 200m (without dying) Was bloody hilarious!! The worst I've had is a subtitle pops up now and again. I don't care! When I first played Skyrim the main game was corrupted for exploring, had to start a new game after 70+hrs. Now thats a bug! I can understand peoples frustration, I'd probably be mad if I had bought it on console but I didn't. It's been awesome on PC so far and if it takes a while to iron out the glitches so be it. Let's not forget the witcher 3 had a few bugs too on launch yet it still won multiple game of the year awards and is one of the best games of all time. If cyberpunk was made by the devs that made the witcher 3 then dont worry give them a chance to make it right!! Happy Christmas All!!

Well... I wrote this review to give a fair warning before buying this game. There has been a lot of marketing and hype around this game. This raised the bar of expectations about this game. Is it a bad game? No. Does it deliver what has been promised? No. Is the game finished? No. Far from it. It is glitchy and the open world feels empty. + Great setting + Good graphics + Storytelling is great (main storyline) - Jesus walks on water in Night City! NPC / cars are VERY glitchy. - Side jobs are a few variants on the "fetch and/or kill". Gets boring really fast - Combat AI is non-existent. - Combat is glitchy (thrown knifes dissapear), enemies get stuck (easy kills) - City feels empty. Very little interaction with NPC's, most buildings are inaccessible. - Cops AI is non-existent. Materialise right behind you, won't chase you (also: see remark about combat AI) - Call your car to your location: Mr. Scott beams your car down right next to you. - Driving is like first drinking a full bottle of whisky, then get behind the steering wheel. Not good. In my opinion CDPR should have focused on the main storyline and build / expand on the open world for future games in this setting. This would have given them the possibilities to prioritise on fixing the engine, AI, basic systems. Now we got a mixed bag of everything.

I was not going to say anything until i found out that the game has 8mb save file limit the thing is i was enjoin the game and ignoring the many bugs then i found out about the save file limit and my save file is 7.37mb i invested heavily into the crafting system and I'm not finished with the side missions yet the only reason it 2 stars because the amazing story i would give it 0 stars otherwise the graphics on PC from far away look vary good but closeup some look like cardboard and the bugs my favorite one is when you cant get a legendary schematic because even if you got the key its not opening without the save file bug i would ignore the bugs and give it 4 stars but now i cant play it or it would corrupt so 2 stars is generous

Pros: +captivating story +great characters +likeable protagonist +great soundtrack +great graphics +solid gunplay +good side quests +good RPG mechanics even though they look like its basic point system those perks are quite fleshed out and offer some nice changes. +Cyberware options are really good Cons -broken cop system -broken cop AI -NPC are dumb -traffic is stupid they run you over when you try come to car from side but when you park on road they cannot go around you -broken lip sync sometimes TL DR: I havent play this whole lot but so far it feels like good game not great. Definetly needs more polish since current state is burried by those immersion breaking glitches and weird design decisions. I wasnt expecting perfect game like TW3 but still got dissapointed by the state of many systems in the game.

Game has a ton of issues that are just made worse by the developer's attempts to fix the game (1.05 introduced serious performance issues, awkward graphical issues that weren't there before, and users on other forums are also confirming increased crash rates). Saves get corrupt if they get above a certain file size. Save your money for now, pick it up on sale in a year.
