The game looks ok. The city is lifeless, the NPC AI is atrocious (like worse than any game ever made in the last 20 years, it is shockingly bad), and unless you want a sandbox (should be called a litterbox frankly) then it is the most shockingly bad new game I have played in a decade.
That the score sits at 3.7 here indicates to me there is a lot of garbage brigading being done by CDPR. There is no way this is a 7.4/10 game, it is a 4.7/10 game at best.

Very disappointed; this game is not only ridiculously broken almost a year later, but the gameplay itself is inferior to something like GTA 5 or Watchdogs; the game world feels incredibly small, and more like a mission hub; and the writing is just abysmal. This is an example of a game that a. Thinks too much of itself b. has no understanding of what fun is, c. has no good writers, and d. no quality control.
Terrible performance and visible bugs within 40 seconds of the game running and thats after many patches.
Beyond the performance issues there is also design flaws in the game overall. Many features were cut or are extremly lack luster. This is more of a bad space GTA clone than it is an RPG experience.
Its a shame because we know this studio can do better by directly comparing their other RPG titles.
I heard how they had updated the game, and so I went and updated it from 1.3 something to the latest patch of 1.5. What the update added from having done all the gigs was two cars you will never use, and bunch of items that are in no way special into your "stash" and in order to clear out the quests you will have to take out every single item out of your stash and put them back in.
I used to be able to play this game with all graphical settings on max, and now I had to turn down the population density to low just to be able to play with only minimal freezing and lag of the screen.
The game looks kind of pretty here and there, and I suppose it is a small improvement, but with it half the game is just filled with corrupt textures that keep flashing, flickering, and changing, and it happens to NPCs and the city itself. I suppose those warnings at the start of the game are finally valid.
And then they decided to redesign their perks, and equipment stuff, and no longer can you do anything fun with your equipment. Honestly, it only exists for appearance alone now, and you cannot even improve a low quality item with a legendary mod anymore, not that you would find anything good to attach in the first place. I did spend quite a lot of time gathering those Legendary Fortuna mods, and now I can only make use of one, which is nerfed to irrelevancy by the way, on the face equipment slot.
Tried to find some enemies to fight, and only saw a handful of cops. I do not shoot cops.
Oh, and I haven't checked if the old bug of headgear and hair taking forever to spawn in, thus giving you a bald head every time you try to drive a bike.
The game is just not worth your time nor money. You will probably have better luck with No Man's Sky.
After 2.0 update, the game has improved quite a lot for me. Combat is way more fun than before and the presentation overall is more polished. The city still feels a bit empty in terms of the things you can do, but everything else is good.
