This game at current state patch 1.04 is a buggy unbalanced mess.
Could write a wall of text but let´s keep it short.
If you are like "job/hiob" you could like several aspects of this game like,
art design, sound, maybe the story, the possibilities the game gives you with gameplay,
on the other hand after some hours of gaming there would be several thinks you´ll
notice that there is something wrong like,
ai, balance, several graphical and sound glitches.
Buy and don´t refund if you have faith,
if not, stay the heck away from this game!
Initially only experienced minor bugs (ex. floating drinks or food items and clunky AI/NPCs) and really enjoyed the overal scene and amazing visual experience. These minor issues didn't take away the amazement over Night City's scenery and lore. However, the fun only lasted until running into bugged missions that couldn't be finished or NPCs killing you by glitching through walls and obstacles. The worst bug is that our primary character had about +- 10 hours of playtime when we decided to also start a second character. Turns out all of the previous autosaves are overwritten (without warning) and you'll lose all your progress you had on another character. Now we'll have to manually create backups of the save game directory every time we stop playing, just to be safe. At least, when we decide to start playing again after future patches are released.
Aside bugs, the game is missing bunch of the core gameplay mechanics - customization of your character (barbershops etc) and the car (no garages), absolutely broken the police system, very poor realization of the reputation system, missing AI of the traffic and NPCs, etc... Visual is awsome, though. Not 1 star, but 2 - only for the visual and music.
I've been excited for Cyberpunk 2077 for a while. It's a setting I enjoy, in a genre I enjoy, from a developer I trusted. However, CDPR should've just yanked the release date, gone heads down, and worked on this game for at least another 6 months. It's a sprawling, wonderfully entertaining action RPG/shooter that has moments when it shines, and moments when I just need to take a break.
Some features seem like they were just starting to be implemented when this was released. I think the most glaring example of this is the police/wanted system. It seems like if you do something illegal, the police psychically learn about it for the most part, and then teleport out of thin air all around you to try and kill you, and yet clearing your wanted level is probably the easiest thing in the universe. Just hop in a car, cruise until the cops get bored, and head back to where you needed to be.
Movement is fluid, until it's not. Stealth is good, until it's not. Animations and sounds are brilliantly designed, until they stop for no reason. The pedestrian AI is... Lacking. Driving is sometimes wonderfully fun, sometimes atrociously uncontrollable.
Cyberpunk is a game of duality. You will almost assuredly enjoy your time in Night City, but the issues plaguing Cyberpunk 2077 are glaring and numerous. I believe CDPR will make this a great game eventually, but for now, it's just a good game marred by issues.
This game is no witcher 3. It's not even on the level of witcher 2 at times. Even witcher 2 has more meaningful choices and more branching paths.
The game is very linear, and no way to properly roleplay.
The leveling system and enemy difficulty is very unbalanced at the end of the game. I can do 100000+ in 1 pistol shot that takes out endgame mechs and bosses. My hacking ability can do so much damage I stopped using them since they are too borning. There is no more advanced enemy type, no "monsters" like in Witcher 3. (The cyberpsychos are OK, but no on the same level as monsters)
The questing system has 0 payoff. For instance, I thought I'd get something awesome after doing all 17 cyberpsycho quest, nope, just a meet with the fixer for a line of dialog. (at least I didn't bother to wait any longer for additional follow-ups, I stopped caring at that point). Also, the politician quest where you learn there is a secret society pulling strings, I was super intrigued by that but at the end it didn't do anything with it. I wanted to see what happens if you play as an outlaw and a squad of MaxTac show up and you have to face them. In a word, so much missed opportunities everywhere.
