Cyberpunk 2077

Flashy trailers, so much Keanu Reeves and that's where it seems they dumped a big chunk of the money. This review is with 50 hrs, storyline ended, and probably around 10 hrs in there of side missions and your now classic grind "kill everyone in here" things around the map that after witcher 3 got popular. - First and biggest surprise and dissapointment, soundtrack. It just kinda sucks all around, you will get the same or even better experience if you plug your own music, the soundtrack is mainly composed of the most generic and bland synth that you might ever heard of, just plug yourself some carpenter brut or perturbator for the fights and some gunship for the chill driving because the car radio songs are not better than the world ost. - Marketed as RPG, this is not a RPG, and it would not be a surprise for the people that think the same about Witcher 3, you are given a story, a character with its own predispotition and personality, and a very restrictive and urgent goal and this is shoved from the very early beginning, doing all those chores around the map and side missions and gigs make very little sense from a narrative perspective. And you cannot continue after finnishing the storylane unless you reload a previous save, so all those side content felt wasted, maybe the beginning should have been less rushed. They literally throw you a montage as a way to put you integrated in Night City ready to be shoved to the main plot just after doing your background mission. Why so much fear of saying it's a story-driven action game? The plot itself isn't bad, I actually enjoyed it more than expected, I liked the the characters and dialog as I expected coming from the same people of the witcher's series. If you like the cyberpunk setting and a story-driven game, around 30-40hrs without filling, go for it. Less Keanu, less flashy marketing, and more art next time, your previous games talk more than any marketing done.

I pre-ordered on first day and i am actually disappointed as much as possible - why? The STORY is ok but nothing special and was expecting a better storytelling and overall something better, more special, ... not sure what i was expecting but this is way to blah blah. Pretty boring. The CHARACTER you play is more or less the same even with those 3 starting "classes". Feels like playing Skyrim again - yes there is a difference in skills but it doesn't matter at all what you pick at the character creation. The GRAPHICS are good but not really great or overwhelming. For what you see on your screen the hardware you need is a joke. LODs and objects pop in and out like i have never seen before in 25 years of gaming. 20m away - no car. 15m away - a low LOD car. 10m away - transition into better LOD. 5m away - here is the car we expected. Same for ANY object or anything in the game. The SOUND/SOUNDTRACK is great and there is nothing i can complain about. Sometimes the music in certain areas drives me nuts because there are more than 2-3 radios with loud music in the same spot ( very close to each other ). Really annoying. The NPCs on the streets are meh. No real reaction towards V, only shouting rude stuff or saying "Hi!". NPCs that own a little store or food service on the streets or ANY other merchant is simply there to fill the place - NO interaction is possible. The only traders you can use are marked on the map. The TRANSPORTATION in this game is another let down. Car handling is utter garbage with mouse and keyboard. Walk, "drive", or fast travel from A to B - that's it. Nothing of those choices is enjoyable. The FIGHTS are as boring and stupid as in Skyrim. 1-2 button-smashing with your sword vs guns that feels like toys and lack hit feedback. You hit something, you see numbers but it doesn't feel right. AI in fights is complete garbage. They only hide, peek and shoot. That's it. And then there are a TON of bugs and design issues. Just wait.

Bugs and glitches can be fixed. I think most of us expect bugs, even the ones that prevent forward progress, when open world games are first released. But even without the bugs, the game is dull. Very simple AI, and cops that spawn in front of you. GTA is already several years old and had better NPC AI, with a more believable world like medics coming to the aid of an NPC who’s injured and cops that will chase you. Even Watch Dogs Legion has better NPC AI. CDPR decided they no longer care about their credibility.

ok ok, so you got the base of the city done, a bit of the main story line, some unfinished side quest and you are still working on the extremly important lifepath, you got some part of the core gameplay, the gunfight is good, some of the weapons need polish, 1/3 of the cyber implant are done, but where is the rest ? where is the immersiv sim rpg fps that you showed us years ago ? wheres are the game feature ? where is the game that will be "as polished as rdr2" ? one of the first thing we said with my pals after 3 or 4 hours of game was : ho, it's gonna be good when they add the modding tool. that's what we say for bethesda RPGs, yes CDRP, you are like bethesda now...

I have finished game and it is looter-shooter with lot of bugs and crash (version 1.06) There is good things but there is lot of things that disapoint. Have played 116h most than half was doing side mission and waiting (farming) patch to resolve crash bugs. For those who have mirror crash lower FPS limit will help pass that scenes.
