This game consists of three disparate games, - Story, which is a glorified walking simulator with a dozen different meaningless endings - Singleplayer campaign, which is a mediocre corridor shooter - Sandbox which is unballanced, ubisofted, generic, boring and lifeless This is no Role Playing Game, and it isn't "mature" but prudish and pornography for pre-teens If you have enough computer to throw at it, the game can look pretty, with all the lighting and effects, but beneath that shiny veneer hides an ugly and generic sandbox. The cyberpunk dystopia sometimes shines through in some of the quests, but it's more wading through worn out copy pasta than actual gameplay. Sandbox also offers no interactivity, no ramps or stuff to do. Ironically the piles of easter eggs serve to point to better products.

Never been much into the cyberpunk setting and future stuff so I didn't expect to like the aspects about that. But the game is half baked. Many bugs on my PC, can't even finish some quests and the immersion is broken every time. The story is fine but forgettable. Cutscenes are top-notch but who cares about that in a game. The city feels empty. It's big and looks gorgeous of course but presents not much value. Almost all doors are locked, you only end up going from mission to mission. It's a sad game because it could have been so much better.

I'd say the game is 1/5 done. Game engine, models, textures, visuals, the big city are done and are very good. Everything is so bad it must be rebuilt from the ground up. NPCs and interactions with them, cars and driving should be remade. Quests are completely linear, short and boring. Factions are non-existent. Skills and implants are straight effing magic and don't make any sense. You have your work cut up for you.

Cyberpunk has outstanding potential however, it's thwarted by silent characters, game-breaking bugs, incomplete control setup/input delays, lackluster dialogue, screw over 'that' character mindset, lack of stealth, broken level/gear system putting the game in 'easy mode' at the hardest difficulty, lack of diversity in weapons, cars, gear and quickhacks plus much more. Also - police are hard-coded to spawn out of your view, so they can spawn literally out of nowhere behind you, making them more powerful than they actually are - completely unrealistic and it's amateur programming, have them roll in with vehicles like GTAV and Saints Row 3 and have the higher-tier units teleport in or something instead of what we have now. I personally don't mind the linear story(having loved games such as Metro), though the story itself relies on the same dynamics for transitioning from one mission to another with the exception of a small few. Going back to bugs, previous versions of the game seem to have ran with fewer bugs than the newer 'patched' versions. Having insight into game development and release schedule. I can tell you, that more or less every single Game Producer is aware of most of bugs before release, yet release a broken game, then patching it quickly into tricker you into thinking that 'they care' and that they're 'in it for the long term' when it's actually all planned from the get-go. Ending on a positive note, the game as I stated already has a lot of potential. The story is good and there is some good character development, the game is open-world to a foot and will keep a person occupied for a short-while. It would be nice to see the 'increased' difficulties affecting the story in terms of the sheer amount of chaos. To sum it up, do not buy this yet, it's been outright removed from stores for good reasons.

The graphics and idea are excellent, but the game is simpy not finished and on early access state. The UI and controls are clunky, and the AI is non existant. The physics are rough. The main story is ok, but isolated and dull because there is no chance to dive into it due to this lack of content. There are no RPG elements, so the genre is incorrect. The only missions are go-there kill-that, so it is a shooter-looter without the fun factor that other games have such as Borderlands. I would not recommend purchasing this game until it is finished.
