Cyberpunk 2077

First of all i did not buy this game,played from my brother pc, he was hyped for it for 3 years before it came out at the end i told him never board the hype train. Play it till the end only for the story ,not the best story but acceptable.Lots of bugs not game breaking but annoing ,most of ppl seem to like the night city i found it to be dead i like the wilderness far more appealing.The gun fight swordplay meh just there to progress the main story no fun at all no challenge even on hard mod once you get to craft some good mods everything become shit easy,the talent trees same meh crap you only interested in it at start after a while i just put points randomly. The most fun i had from this game came from the story and driving in wilderness. Its an average game that i played during covid it definetly does not deserve 60 bucks ,its a game of 10 dollars at best.

22hrs in and I get a breaking glitch. everything 1 taps me and nothing seems to take damage. random street thugs took 20 frag grenades and didnt die.

I have had fun with this game but it seems like the more time that passes the worse it gets. Trying to get back into playing but having to fight with the game to even have it run is horrible. Maybe I will give it another year and try again.

Thought after a year most of the issues were fixed, so I gave it a try and bought it. The story was mediocre, there wasn't a likeable character, and the bugs... Just a few that I remember during my 1 playthrough: 5 of the same character model in a few metres round. During cutscenes the npcs mouth stopped moving. In one of the first cutscenes I had a character T pose levitating in the middle of the screen, and an other walking without his head. Had to wait for the textures to load if I ran too fast. Vehicles and bikes randomly blowing up, without anything nearby. Getting damage without anything attacking me, or being nearby. Hits not registering during shootings. Weapon getting stuck. Can't change weapon, and can't attack with the one I currently had, so had to kill myself, just to start it over. The missions where I had to wait for a call, got bugged a lot, had to reload saves, wait months in game, just to get the call (that is supposed to be in 24 hours), almost deleted the game because of those without finishing. Currently it's not worth the price, maybe on a 80% sale, but the gameplay is mediocre at best, the story felt like a dlc story of a good game (The "it isn't as good as the main scenario but okay I guess, at least I can play with this game more" kind of story), the graphic was pertty inconsistent (played on ultra), there were a few "that looks nice" moment, but mostly I felt like I played better looking PS4 games years before this game's release. (and sometimes I felt that even half life 2 looked better) I don't believe one year wasn't enough to fix these kind of bugs, either the code is mess, or they are not even trying.

I really wanted to play this game since it first came out. I gave it a year to work out the bugs and now there are very few bugs, because I didn't notice them. The story is fine, but you go from one cut scene to another. I personally wouldn't call it an RPG or an open world because there is little freedom. You're essentially guided along a story on a rail where you have to go through the prescribed activities. And honestly, I just cannot stand how many cut scenes there are that you're forced to watch and take up so much of the time you're actually in the game. That may not be bad for some folks, but I just don't have the time to dedicate to playing a game in a day. Anyway, just wanted to say, the bugs are fixed, the story seems good...but its just not for me. You could like it and worth the shot, especially if you catch it on sale.
