I got the game about a month and half ago and up to now there is no killer bugs that keeps me from enjoying the game, just little glitch here and there and it crashed only once in more than 127 hours of game play. The only thing is that sometimes the quick save does not seem to work but I just save manually. My specs amd 3700x, rtx 2060 6GB, at high and it runs very smooth at 1080p 60FPS no overclocking.
P.S. Take your time, go explore, take it easy, don't do the main stories too fast, I think I must be between 30-40% of the main story done and there is still a lot more side mission to be done.
...and that reason is accountability. Accountability here, however, refers to many things:
1.) The accountability from me, as a fan, for overhyping this game and jumping to conclusions. That's on me.
2.) The accountability from CD Projekt RED, the developers, for releasing the game before it was ready.
3.) The accountability from individual employees expressing their own disappointments in the game.
Separate from its rocky launch and overhype, Cyberpunk 2077 is an amazing game that does everything its description says it does, and then some. Not just in terms of graphics, either; there are some encounters with NPC's (or other instances) where the dialogue will change depending on your clothing, cyberware, or attribute levels. There's a nightclub in the game that, when closed, will be cleaned and prepared by worker NPC's, who then go home to sleep after their shifts. Little details like these build Cyberpunk 2077 up to be a great game. Compare it to Red Dead Redemption 2, and you will be disappointed. Compare it to The Witcher 3, CDPR's last title, and you will find many improvements and enhancements in their Red Engine.
But it's trendy to hate on the game currently, so unless those previously-established and extremely high expectations are somehow met, unfortunately this game will forever be tainted.
Going into this game expecting it to be GTA V, and an excellent RPG is ridiculous. What you get is a game that plays about as well as VTM: Bloodlines, which is easily one of most well-regarded RPGs. And on top of that the gameplay is better, the graphics are better.
The voice-acting and characters are immaculate. Almost never straying into Uncanny Valley. Yes, there are bugs, but anyone who pretends to be a grizzled old "RPG Veteran" will testify that these games tend to be buggy.
Hell, everyone's favorite drooling, beloved step-child Bethesda RPGs are riddled with bugs. If the community didn't patch them out, there'd be bug all through those games.
That said, do you know how many bugs I've experienced in 300 hours of gameplay? Three. I experienced a couple of floating characters on day one, and some floating debris. All in the same location.
And there's a window I kept trying to enter that warped me across the map. That's it. I'm sure there are a couple more, so I said three, just to give benefit of the doubt. To the guy complaining about vehicle handling, he's right. The cars drive like shit.
Guess what? I still beat the racing quests, prior to the patch that addressing driving, and without any mods. And now, driving's been addressed, and there's mod support.
You know what other vaunted RPG requires mods to be enjoyable? VTM: Bloodlines. Oh, and is that you Elder Scrolls? Nobody bats an eye that those games are a really rough experience unmodded.
And those clipping and mesh issues? Patched. Much of the rough spots have been patched. I'm just going to say it. If you hate the game in this state, admit you hate it on principle. But don't pretend it's a bad game. CDPR lied about console performance. So I get it.
1984 is one of those books I'm convinced that only a handful have read, but everyone loves to wield like a broadsword.
But participating in a smear campaign for Cyberpunk 2077 is merely the latest display of our very own Two Minutes' hate.
Thanks to the developer and makes the gameplay great again by introducing FSR in the game and fixed various bugs in the game. Which makes the game's framerate ran smoothly with more than 60 fps! Although the are still some graphics bugs appeared in some scene, but it is still playable and not affecting your game experience. The graphics are amazing though! (I'm using AMD Ryzen APU 5700G to play this!)
I like the way how the freeplay in the game that does not restrict the gamer to explore only to the story lines. You can loot the money and weapons in any enemy area without need to go for the mission. This way, it offers the ability to expand the additional story in the game at any times. If there are new DLC, I will definately buy the DLCs!
The story is great and I hope they could make more Cyberpunk series again in the future. Great game and good job devs! Keep it up!
Can't get it running on my AMD Phenom II X6 1100T, 16,0 GB, MSI GeForce GTX 970. It always keeps crashing directly when trying to start. How-to's on the subject that you can find on the Internet are useless as far as it goes. I even made a complete Windows reinstall and downloaded the game twice, but the game still keeps crashing.
I know, my PC is not the newest one, but I will not invest thousands of dollars into a new one, just because of this game.
