Played on PC and still love it. I did not have so much fun playing a game since a long time.
So I will play it once againg to see all the other choices I can do in this game.
Right now "Cyberpunk" is already highly playable and in my opinion lots of its negative reviews come not so much from people not enjoying the game, but simply feeling cheated by CD Projekt. I guess it's not uncalled for, though we shouldn't allow it to distort the bigger picture of things - the studio gave us another great, although flawed, RPG game, with many DLCs, updates and patches on the way. Similar thing happened to "Witcher" and now it's undoubtedly one of the gems of the genre.
If you are a fan of sci-fi RPG games - "Cyberpunk" is definitely worth giving it a shot, even more so considering all the future content.
It's a good game overall after all the patches so far but it's not a situation that should ever be sugarcoated, a game should never be released like this one was, even on the PC version.
Onto the game details, I found the side characters very interesting for the most part with their own side quests, it really made me want to do them all thanks to good writing and excellent voice acting, the main quest on the other hand felt just ok and it was a constant reminder to rush into it something that I hated; the gameplay feels solid for the most part but nothing mind blowing (take my opinion of the gamplay with a grain of salt as I'm not a fan of FPS), everything else felt average to me, the map is big and pretty to look at and walk for a while but gets old quick and not something I desire to explore further. There is more than enough content in the game for it's original pice tag but if you rush through the main story it will be done before you know it.
The optimization for this game is something that bothers me, the game is pretty for sure but nothing I found mind blowing, and yet it's very demanding, Ryzen 7 3700x/AMD5700OC here and could not get solid 60fps no matter the settings, guess it was done with the new Nvidia 3000 series in mind for RTX and DLS, but selling a game only optimized for a graphics card that only a few have seems sily.
After arriving in the City of Tpopolis to follow your dreams of becoming a clone of Shia LeBeouf, one thing leads to another and you end up joining Keanu Reeves on his quest to stop himself from becoming a meme in 2019 at E3. However, standing in your way are a lot of angry Japanese people will yell and throw things at you. You'll have to punch, spill chocolate milk, and stab your way through an army of call center employees, wild karens, hippies, and erstwhile Russian guys who don't afraid of anything. You can also choose to help or hinder the po-lice, but if you commit crimes without your plot armor on, watch out, as while they will still shoot at you like traditional police, they will also begin a summoning ritual that attaches a Jew star to you each time you commit a crime (including fighting back). Once four Jew stars have been accumulated, a MaxTec helicopter will appear and T-posed combatants will start spilling out. Needless to say, dominance will be asserted post haste. Fortunately, like the Ravenous Bugblatter Beast of Traal, the police of Tpopolis believe that they can't see you if you can't see them, so you can lose any outstanding Jew stars and wannabe Judge Dredds simply by going around a corner or inside a building and looking away.
I didn't get the game until after the 1.3 patch, so the only bugs I noticed were Potato People (occasionally, every person is actually a potato until you get close to them and look at them for several seconds) and aggressively mislayered foliage (all trees and shrubs will randomly appear in front of everything else, but retain the appropriate scale for their distance, giving the appearance of trees and shrubs in your face constantly. Seems more prevalent when driving, or loading a game when driving, but not exclusively, so I'm not sure what caused it. At any rate, I wouldn't trust the foliage.
It is a very good game, far from what they promised and certainly has bugs, but it is an enjoyable game, it makes you want to play it the longer you play it.
The character design is horrible, the intervention by a certain political agenda is very noticeable.
