Buy it cheaper if interested

A game that is so hype yet fail to deliver their promises. On the top of that they manipulate how the game is suppose to be reviewed by reviewers until it is too late. Delivering unpolished game and promise the game will be release once it is ready. From the state of the release I bet there are a lot of people pissed about the bugs and glitches. I got the game for 34 Canadian bucks from ebgames and played 1.23 version. So far I have seen the police system is damn messed where the police spawn to you maybe 20 feet away and then it keeps continue to spawn if you increase the stars in the same area where you are in. One thing, is that npc or AI are fucking joke, does not have common sense, does not go around you or often times they goes through Elevator door or your car like what Jackie did after you finished the mission together. They also do not fight back or just ran away. The game is beautiful but I bet they cut a lot of stuff in the game because it is too much. They probably planned having hovering cars, bikes but they probably realized it is too much. There are so many little glitches and bugs that adds up and breaks the immersion of the game plus there aren't many options of the game say changing the color of your car or wash it. The story isn't intersting at all for me . If you want to play rpg or open world game, try something else like Red dead redemption or borderlands games. If you still considering buying the game I suggest buy the game cheapest as possible. This is unexpectable state of release.

Visually spot-on, otherwise just ok

Cyberpunk 2077 is a game about watching funny advertisements. It is also an OK shooter. The star of the show are the environments and character designs. The moments spent in piss-stained cyber night clubs and other neon hellholes can be magical. And the characters all got metric tons of style. Even the cyberbums. The problem, besides the well-documented bugs, is that the gameplay is just ok. There is nothing wrong with the combat, hacking, stealthing and so forth. But it is not particularly great either and it certainly does not evolve much during the course of the game. And a lot of the side content is very basic "go here and murder everybody"-type missions. Cyberpunk 2077 can be fun while having a few beers, but there are way better open-world games out there. Which is a shame, as Night City has this majestic presence and beautiful potential for so much more.

Ok, but!

a massive disappointment after the witcher 3, it's an ok game but barely a shell of what was expected and shown. the music and sidequests are the highlights but outside of that its the usual looks like a massive lake but its only an inch deep.

What a missed opportunity

To begin with. A good game for me is a game where the story matters. I do not mind bugs, and I don't mind gameplay. Give me a walking simulator or basic gameplay with an overpowered character so I do not have to mind about gameplay too much and I am fine. But there is so much opportunities missed storywise. There are so many nice storylines and characters, but everything seems to be just cut after 80%. No conclusing, nothing. And finally, when do game developers finally learn, that it pisses of most players if you give the illusion of choice, when you then have a linear storyline with a sad ending. Nothing against bittersweet endings but the game all along is: You do missions, then everythings fails, everybody you do missions for leaves, dies, or the story simply ends abruptely. This game feels like a huge huge cliffhanger constisting of only cliffhanger stories. And when I hear the management proudly claiming the players will need years to find everything they have hidden in the game???? I want to play a game and be able to experience ist. Not watch hundreds of youtube videos to find all the hidden endings, secrets, etc and then replay with a walkthrough to see what I would never ever find with playing mayself....
