Let me be clear.
I absolute love this game and i think cd project red is getting waaaay to much shade on it cuz the consumers did not wanted to wait for the game even tho they said it wasnt finished. also the pandamic makes it really dificult to work efficently from home. so cut them some slack will ya
The games is amazing and fun, the bugs make it in my opinion even more fun.
The only thing that really annoys me is the poor performence, i run a ryzen 3700x, 32 GB ram, and a 1080, and it runs like shit even on low options. fixed it my scaling down the res the 720p, which is a real shame because allot of the magic of the game lies in the looks.
hopefully they fix these problems ASAP. cuz that would make this game for me a 10
But do remember everyone works from home
Now I'm playing the game for the second time. Upset that there is not much difference for whom to play: street kid, nomad or corporation. Only the presence / absence of several phrases in dialogues with different characters.
My budget PC handles medium-high settings, so the graphics are quite pleasing to the eye. Music is just 10 out of 10, a big addition to my playlist.
Despite the release of several fixes, there are still bugs, but not to say that they are critical.
The main plot and about 70% of the secondary tasks deserve, in my opinion, all the praise.
If it were not for optimization problems, I would give all 5 stars.
2080 super, 9700k, 32gb ram @3200mhz, installed on an M.2 ssd. Version 1.6
Very Hard difficulty, 74 hours played according to the save game.
I had almost no game breaking/progress breaking issues. 1 mission had a body I was supposed to pick up 400 meters underneath the area I was at, breaking the mission. A few T poses that corrected within seconds. Audio issues (phone had normal muffled phone sounds then all of a sudden clear as if they were standing next to me) footsteps not making noise, hacking a turrent seemed to be the cause. All fixed with a quicksave and reload. 1 time the chime door I walked through the sound got stuck looping, had to restart to fix that. Subtitles getting stuck on screen when I had them turned off. Quicksave/reload fixed that too. Not a perfectly unbuggy game, but hardly the POS so many people seem to say it is, even on PC.
The writers clearly know how to write characters. So many characters to like and dislike based off of realistic reasons. That's as far as I'm going, as not to spoil anything, but I really enjoyed all the story aspects and characters. A fun game all the way to the end.
Gameplay felt like a mix of GTA, Far Cry, Assassin's Creed, Watchdogs and a little Borderlands. Only the good parts of those games, though. ;) Getting Legendary equipment from the most random enemies or loot felt rewarding as hell. Many things hidden away in certain spots to reward exploration. The difficulty at first was a bit annoying, until I learned more about the game. I went with a netrunner build and had a lot of fun killing people with my mind. :P End game you will become super powerful, especially if you do a lot of the side content like I did.
I game the game a try, and despite all the fear I had the game would suck, it was awesome.
I hope their online for this game is like GTA:O. Running around with friends doing story missions and side content with friends in THIS universe would be SO GOOD.
