Why buy on GOG.COM?
DRM FREE. No activation or online connection required to play.
Granted, DLSS is the saving-grace for me, otherwise this game would be hardly as enjoyable.
Also I (always) dislike that there is no "good" end.
Otherwise I love it.

Amazing
One of the best game i ever played. Amazing story and characters .
it fun andd fun to drive around in world some of voice lines are cheesy but voice acting is amazing gun play is fine not stalker level of gun play but fine in general and i hope dlc is good
Well, everybody knows that this game had few problems when it was first released.
But: All problems / glitches etc. that really bugged me were ironed out in one patch or the other.
In the end, I had countless hours of fun with the game (modded and non modded), trying out different skills and playstyles, discovering the story, all the more or less hidden stuff and learning how to drive.
Or - more precisely - how not to wreck my Porsche 911 in 30 sec.
So - highly recommended for everyone who loves single-player RPGs and SciFi (and is able to overlook some hilariously strange behaviour on part of the NPCs).
Let's get the bad out of the way. The first was stopping it from crashing on start. Sifted through NVIDIA drivers, downgrading each time to find one that works. After each driver install it worked. Until I closed the game. Any following starts wouldn't make it to the main menu. 527.37 did it. Found it on a suggestion once I had gone through their main site list of recent ones.
As for graphics. I rarely buy into the industry standard promising big graphics developments outside of cutscenes. It isn't just CDPR. So it isn't a deal breaker for me that it isn't ground breaking. As long as I'm not seeing Minecraft graphics when I should see GTA V level or better.
Playing on an ASUS ROG 2022 Strix 15. Things are smooth for the most part. Once in a while there will be a slow down. Few and far between. Also if I blink I'll miss it. Gone as fast as it happens. Still learning and playing with settings (for the game and the laptop itself to optimize).
I would also suggest rebinding the key to answer calls (T). For me it was the same as reject call.
I'd like the ability to toggle relationship limits. It's a double edge sword. On the one hand you have to make choices. Not always s bad thing. Yet it blocks some variety for future replay.
Now the good. I'm having a blast. The story is engaging. Characters are fun. Graphics are clear. The areas feel lived in with the amount of NPCs. The RPG elements work for me. Enjoying the netrunning/hacking. Spreading out the main story with plenty of side quests mixed in.
I'll add this to finish. With the issues as it stands. It's doesn't feel worth $60. But with the discount? Yeah, I'm good with having paid $36. It was touch and go though until I got it working. I'm hoping CDPR will get fixes rolled out. I wanna see this game improve and expand (the company too). Not everyone is cool with having to tinker with products that should be finished like I am. Even with that discount.
