Absolutely Amazing!

First of all, To the ladies and gentlemen at CD Projekt Red: Thank you! I know you're catching a lot of heat for issues that honestly I feel you shouldn't be. You did the Cyberpunk genre and the tabletop game proud with this game and you should be proud of yourselves. I've been preparing for this game since they originally announced it years ago. Earlier this year I upgraded to a pretty decent pc just to be able to play this game. I took my last vacation time to make sure I had a full 5 days of play time starting on release, which turned out to be 5 1/2 days cause of my location. I've played this game on ultra settings with ray tracing almost non stop and have not had a single serious graphics issue nor any sort of fps problem. What I posted on my facebook: 1) Completely in love with the density of Night City, reminds me of walking in New York but with some palm trees and cyberpsychos added. And Im really missing NY now more than ever. 2) Theres humanity here, emotions feel full, even in an AI taxi. You'll see. Ive teared up a lil bit already and have been made to think about feelings, friendship, community and family. 3) The side chatter with Johnny Silverhands is amazing and fulfilling. I sometimes feel as if Im just hanging out with Keanu and I need more of this. 4) Only real complaint is the hottest romanceable character is only into women and Im playing as a man so Im outta luck but i reckon that touches on the diversity of humanity. Cant just get with everyone youre attracted to cause they got their own tastes and preferences. Also there should be even more romance and sex stuff but Im also just a lonely degenerate/hopeless romantic so whatever i guess. 5) You can literally buy sex toys which is hilarious despite having no function. Look for the dildo shops.

A bit rough but a lot of fun regardless!

First, let's get the obvious thing out of the way: Cyberpunk 2077 was not ready for prime time. However, what we've got is still very fun and enjoyable! Core mechanics are extensive, work well and are fun to play with, as well as offer some nice customizability options - even if some things were cut due to time constraints. Story is solid, well structured and engaging - even if some characters bug out occasionally. There is a lot of other in-game content, both lore-wise and gameplay-wise and so far, I haven't managed to finish even half of it. But even if something breaks, I'm eager to reload my savefile and try again. The world is grand in scale and rich in lore and activities. Locations are varied and provide a lot of gameplay opportunities. The climate/vibe/feel of the game is amazingly crafted. There are a lot of different vehicles for different kinds of terrain and with different purposes. Level design is good and allows for various approaches to missions. Overall, even if sometimes things don't work as intended, the game is still really fun, engaging and just simply a remarkable experience. There is always something to do, something to upgrade, something to buy or "work" for. A story to read, a car to test-drive, a location to find and discover the story within. There are some weaker points too, of course, e.g. the on-rails chase sections which, while pretty fun still, are, interestingly enough, rather slow. This does not, however, change my view of the game as a great open-world "do-it-all" story-focused RPG which, in my view at least, it was meant to be. And on that promise, the game certainly delivers. As for my score, I give it 4 stars for now. Without a doubt, a lot of blood, sweat, tears (and love!) went into this product, but I have to take away one star for some of the performance issues and bugs - thankfully though, those can be fixed. I'm definitely looking forward for more games like this one - even if they take a long time to develop :)

Cyberpunk 2077

A truly ambitious game that delivers on all fronts for me personally. It is buggy and was certainly a mess at launch - but don't fret! The substance of this game is remarkable and should not be missed out on!

Give it a chance.

NO this game is NOT what CDPR promised. I understand that. It is NOT an RPG, and that is what they promised you. But look past that and give the game a chance you will love it, as I love it. It's got to be some of the most captivating writing and voice acting I've ever experienced in a game. Even the side gigs and side quests are written very very well, and the main plot is excellent. The gunplay, melee combat, and hacking/stealth systems work really damn well and are all individually very fun. They've been fixing the bugs, I know it had a rough lauch but damn, I'm really enjoying this game.
