Narrative

This game is not for everyone. The most important thing about the game is not the gameplay or mechanics but how the story hits you or in other words how you react to stories in video games generally. If you are the type that skips cutscenes and don't follow the story/lore of this amazingly built (in concept) city then I suggest you move along towards a brain dead game like COD for instance. On the other hand if you do get attached to ingame characters, the story, how immersive and relative it can be then go all in do not skimp on the experience you will not regret it, play the part don't use fast travel drive to places make phones calls while driving .... explore check out every nook and cranny in the game, appreciate the creativity and time these developers have put in. Cyberpunk Project Orion is going to be amazing and set a new standard in the gaming industry, I am willing to be my life on it! Wish I could be involved somehow I'm sure they need someone to make em coffee!

Well worth my money

I played my share of open world games and Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the best I have experienced. I am 55 hours in and it is just so much fun to explore and go through all of the quests. I am only now beginning to figure out all the different ways of approaching the story, quests and gameplay. The hacking, melee and gunplay combined with the cyberware enhancements can change the game completely and help you do really cool things. Bottom line is I can clearly see this is a passion project through and through. The art direction is beautiful, the Phantom Liberty expansion is excellent and technically the game runs very smooth, while looking better than most other games.

2.0nd Chances

Even through all its technical issues and shortcomings, Cyberpunk 2077 kept me engaged through many hours. I found myself often just driving around Night City and not really engaging in crime or missions; just taking in the sights and sounds, the songs on the radio, the NPCs chattering, the life of the city. Slightly buggy but very addictive since patch 2.0

I bought this when it first came out, and it's true 1.0 was a hot mess. However, the graphics are much better, the combat is fun, and the stealth mechanics really helped throughout the game. Who wants to fight a bunch of gonks when you're outgunned and outnumbered anyway? They also fleshed out the story with Judy and Panam, and added some other love interests. The side quests are worth pursuing, and Johnny is more rude and sarcastic than ever. Too bad we never got to see what was planned for the outback. Btw, the soundtrack is right up there in quality with Skyrim. Need that PON PON!! CD Projekt Red, next time you release a game, please tell the investors to shove their time complaints where the sun don't shine so you can release it in the best form possible! They'll make their money back when people have a product that works and is immersive. I even bought Phantom Liberty DLC, and it was quite an emotional rollercoaster!

A Very Good Theme Park

Cyberpunk 2077 is best described as a Sci-Fi theme park, and if you are a fan of things like Akira, William Gibson novels, and Philip K. Dick novels like I am, then you will certainly love this.
